Vampire Jewels

"I need help over here!" yelled Steffany.
"Your not the only one needing help," Jason yelled back. They were fighting for their lives. It was against unknown forces, at least unknown to most of them. Arianna and Steffany had been rivals since they were toddlers. If Steff built a block tower, Arianna built a better one. Those kind of things happened throughout childhood and into their teenage years. Once they became forteen they became more aggressive. "So Steff you've finally gotten some guts," said Arianna. "You obviously have courage since your fighting me, you've got strength because your not dead yet. Now what's missing?" she said rubbing her chin, "Oh yea, intelligents. If you had brains you wouldn't be helping them!" Arianna laughed waving her hand over to Jason, Nicholas, and Brina. "And after you swore to help kill them! I'm surprised!" she said sarcastically.
"I have more brains then you'll ever have!" Steff almost screamed.
"Maybe, but obviously no self-control."
"Don't let her get to you Steff. We need you," Brina yelled. She wasn't fighting because she was weak. They were protecting her and the magical jewels, made by the original vampire. The jewels had powers to protect and to destroy. It just depended on who owns them. Brina wasn't a direct relative of the family she called her own. Although they were her biological family, they weren't her vampire family. Brina was the first vampire's first fledgling. She was the only creature, vampire, shape shifter, witch, or human, who could use the jewels apart from the first vampire himself.
He made Brina a vampire because he said he loved her. He gave her the jewels for a present. Their love didn't last long though. He hoped she would be able to keep them safe. So far she had, but the twenty-first century brought on new and tougher vampire hunters.
