Snape tried to remember those Green eyes while Nagini's poison filled him up . He tried to remember her laughter , her jokes , her anger . The way she over did everything she came across. The way her red hair flew in the wind tangling with each other . The way she hugged him when he was sad . The way she called him Sev. He tried to remember Lily –The love of his life-He was thinking about the first day he saw her and his exciting discovery that she was a witch.
He had found her pretty and had followed her little did he know that he would give up his life to protect her son later on. But to him nothing else mattered. He had given his life and his soul to lilly a long time ago. His mind wandered to his and Lily's talk on death . It had been a very pleasant day and they had decided to go for a picnic at the lake side. They put down their basket and started eating. After a while they climbed on top of the small hill and stood facing the winds. Sape remembered looking at her and being swept off his feet . She looked beautiful . Her red hair were tangled , she had mud on her dress that just added to beauty and naturalness . He loved every aspect of her
He loved her not because of looks or her nature . He loved her because she was Lily. His Lily. After standing like that for a while she had dropped down on the grass with Snape beside her ''Sev , What if I die?'' she asked quietly looking at her ''Don't say that Lily ..! I wouldn't be able to live without you'' He whimpered . Lily clearly satisfied looked back at they sky ''Its beautiful! Isn't it?'' She asked Snape looked around to see what she was looking for but in vain in the end he asked her ''What do you mean?'' He asked a bit curiously . ''The wind Sev.'' She whispered. Snape felt the wind on his face. He didn't see anything beautiful in it but then Lily saw perfectness in things that weren't perfect.
She had said to him that she wanted to become the wind when she died so that she can meet all her loved ones even after she died. Snape found that weird..
The memory faded and another took place.. A distraught looking snape stepped over James body and ignored the baby in the cradle . His dread was too great to make him see sense. He knelt down next to the body of Lily Evans. The youthful young lady he loved. He clutched her body wailing and willing to sacrifice him self in order to get her. He had been sobbing over the body of his beloved when suddenly a wind blew by . As it blew by his ears he heard a faint sound ''Sev'' He looked around.
It was not until an hour later that he remembered the conversation they had had. The talk of becoming the wind. Snape gazed at Lily's body ad wished for the millionth time that he could see the glow in her eyes for the last time.
And now as Nagini's poison filled his body Snape remembered it all ''I'm coming to you Lily'' He whispered. They would be reunited after so long. He could already feel his soul leaving.
As he was counting his final breaths the wind rushed pass him. The wind strangely smelled of Lily's favourite Shampoo. He smiled and remembered those green eyes for the last time ''I'm coming to you Lily'' He said ''I've always loved you Lily . ALWAYS'' And just like that the glow in his dark eyes faded but a small smile was still on his face as his soul went up to meet his beloved LILY
