Flack walked into the break room of the lab. Stella, Hawkes, Danny, and Lindsay were all sitting at the table. They had been talking and got silent when he walked into the room.
"What's going on?" Flack asked.
"Uh, we were just talking and we need to tell you something," Hawkes spoke up for the rest.
"Alright," Flack turned away from the refrigerator and walked over to the table.
"We think that Devon is..." Stella trailed off.
"We think she's a bitch." Danny spatted out without looking at anyone then looked up with as much shock on his face as everyone else.
"Well don't beat around the bush there Messer." Flack retorted.
"Sorry," Danny admitted and hung his head.
"What Danny was trying to say is that we just don't think she's right for you," Lindsay interjected.
"Can I ask why?"
"Cause she's a bitch." Danny mumbled but everyone heard it.
"Honestly, Don, she's not very nice," Hawkes said nicely. "She acted all stuck-up around all of us and we just weren't getting the feeling that she liked us."
"You guys weren't exactly warm and inviting the other night."
"Come on, give us some credit," Stella started. "We tried hard to ask her questions and learn more about her; she's the one that felt the need to tell us every sort of fancy affair she had been to in the last month. And I heard her say something more than once about our choice of hang-out."
"Your friends will always tell you the truth about someone your dating." Lindsay said and smiled at Flack who looked defeated.
"I thought you guys would like her."
"You hoped we would." Stella stood as she talked. "We're just being honest." She left the room.
"Food for thought, ok?" Hawkes said and followed Stella.
"There are a lot more fish in the sea, and ones that your friends like." Lindsay commented then left the room as well.
Flack sat down at the table across from his best friend. "What's your last words?" Danny looked up at him from where his head had been laying on his arms. He stuck out his fist to Flack.
"Bros before hoes."
Flack smiled and hit his fist against Danny's. "You're an ass, you know that?"
"Yeah," Danny sat up. "But there has to be some reason why I'm your best friend." He stood up and gathered his files. "It could be because of my brutal honesty."
"Yeah I guess."
