First Piano Lesson
In the Apollo cabin, soft music was being played. Percy walked in to see a little upright piano in the middle though how it got in there Percy would never know. Apollo was playing eccentric pieces of Mozart while bubbles shaped like notes danced in the air. Percy almost chocked on soap when a bubble landed in his mouth.
Apollo stopped playing. "Oi Percy come here." He patted down a seat next to him. Percy sweat dropped.
"No its okay I got to ummm… make my bed." He started to walk out the door when an arm pulled him back inside.
"Percy be a dear and not anger the immortal god will you. Okay? For your first lesson I am going to teach you Mozart's piano sonata 16 in C Major. You may begin"
He pointed at the sheet music. Meanwhile Percy took one look at it with one thought. How the hell am I going to get through this? I can't even read words much less a bunch of thick stick things.
He pressed one notes.
Apollo made a horn noise. "Wrong."
He pressed another note. "Wrong" and another "Wrong" and another and another and another and another.
Three hours later
"Good we made progress. We finally got through two notes." He smiled proudly at Percy who looked like he was about to pass out.
"Next time we'll get through the whole song!"
Screw that.
"Maybe we'll get to Beethoven."
Screw you.
Without another word, Apollo pushed him off the chair and played the piece perfectly.
Show-off.
