A/N: This idea bunny didn't work out as hoped because high dragons are only girls. Here's the bits I could salvage.
Andraste could not see her well, but from her perch high on Mountain Top, she could smell her. The other dragon appeared to be flying south and...was in heat. Threatened, the wyvern decided to investigate. Was she not the only high dragon? "Perhaps not," responded Andraste to her own question, "but I'm confident I'm the superior. She will not tempt my drakes." Taking flight with a loud bellowing screech, Andraste headed straight toward the usurping interloper.
Flemeth was nearly home, having successfully thwarted any ideas Morrigan may have conceived. She chuckled to herself; oh, how spirited had her daughter become. "Yes, it won't be long now..."
Andraste jolted Flemeth from her reverie with shriek, swooping down to tear at her wings. She barely evaded Andraste, flapped her wings all the harder. "I'll lose her in the mists of the wastes," Flemeth determined.
The mists were thick. Flemeth thought quickly, "What can I change into? ...Ah, I know!"
Andraste couldn't see her. She did see a flash of something like lightening though and decided to land. Lightening hurt and she didn't want to risk getting struck. Once on the ground, she sniffed. The scent, once so strong, was gone and replaced by a combination of magic and...drake.
Now Flemeth swooped down in front of Andraste. "Oh. ...And...who might you be?" the wyvern asked flirtatiously.
Flemeth gave no answer; she didn't understand.
"The...strong...silent type, then?" Andraste said, approaching the mysterious drake seductively.
Before Flemeth knew what to do, she (as a he) was overwhelmed by the lusty Andraste.
A/N: Ha-ha, Alistair...swooping is bad.
Hey Biology majors, can two females fool around if one is in heat? I know the pull on males is strong... Or maybe since there wasn't a girl, one of the dudes (Andra[gon]aste) switched genders? (What is ← that called?)
