It was only two days before Halloween. Most of the orphans only know Halloween is coming.
But not these four youngsters. BB, Mello, Matt, and Near, the four of them had always
known this. There is a Whammy traditon in where they can go trick or treating in the community.
They would group themselves and pretend not to know each other since the orphanage's existance in the
area is suppose to be kept as a secret.
This year they giving something extra special. More than candies and sweets. The four of them were in a group they planned to have a cake but cakes weren't given for trick-or-treats. They easily ask Watari for money to buy cake but it wouldn't be the same. Thanks to Matts gaming skills the earned enough money,
*flashback...at the gaming house*
"Matt what the hell are we doing in the middle of a store with are costumes on while Near and freaking B are going trick-or-treat'
once again Mello managed to complain.
"We are making money for the cake, i know someone here who can give us that," Matt said grinning.
"If i beat him in a little game Im sure he'll give us some money, with just a little game" he added
"Hey ! Biggy, need some money for 3 game rounds of Guitar Hero," Matt shouted to a big guy.
" I'll bet 50 bucks, what's your bet?" The big guy replied.
"This leather jacket and expensive gun with a really cool fake license"
"What!! Matt since when did you have that? Those are mine give them back you idiot don't you know how
much I spend for those?!" Mello interrupted, surely he was really mad at Matt but Matt said they wouldn't lose it, Mello just trusted him
but still very pissed off. (after 2 rounds)
"Here's your 50 bucks , you just got lucky again Matt," Biggy said counting the cents left for him since he just 50 bucks to a kid.

The two met Near and Beyond with their really creepy costumeand and Mello thought it was weird since Beyond and Near seems to get
along pretty well. But it doesnt matter , what really matters is its getting late and the cake shop would be closing sooner.
The good thing is, they made , they bought several wrappers and cards with the change and headed home.
they wrote some stuffs on the card and brought it to L's room they didnt bother entering. They just left the candies Near and B gotand the cake
with the note infront of L's door , knocked a few times and run. The note says:
" It was our plan to sing Happy Birthday to you personally but B said it doesnt sound right and he is just freaking us all out and so we didn't have a choice."
L was amused with the cake , sweets , and the letters on the card.

Then, I'll give you a larger cake.

Uh umm.. Happy Birthday L,
(don't have anything to say) oh yeah don't hope Mello will achieve what he writes.
