It was late and Fuji Syuusuke was walking home. Yes, it was as simple as that but then again…maybe not.

Everyone knew Fuji had those eyes. Sharp, crystal blue which pierced right into your own eyes. That is, if he ever opened them fully. Of course, Fuji didn't need to open his eyes, he hardly ever did. When he did however, everyone knew he was getting serious.

What most did not know was that Fuji was special. Different. Sure, he was a child prodigy but that wasn't all. He could see things others just well, couldn't. No one would believe him even if he did tell them about the teenagers dashing around in long, black cloak like outfits wielding weapons that were hardly ever possibly real.

Then again, he doubted what he was seeing. It was just…impossible. Who on earth would run around the neighbor wearing some costume and…run around some more? There was nothing that intrigued Fuji more than that. So, he decided to follow these weird apparitions.

And so, it leads him right to something even more unbelievable. There is was, the cloaked people dashing down, past a corner. Fuji quickened his pace and soon found himself at the corner as well. He stepped slowly almost afraid of what he would see. Just then, a strong blast of wind hit him.

Fuji stood his ground and when the wind died down he looked up again, his eyes opened-wide. There was a towering monster standing amidst the calm neighborhood. Familiar figures stood there-an orange headed teenager and a younger looking girl with jet black hair. Both wielded swords and were repeatedly attacking the monster. Or whatever it really was.

It was the first time in years that Fuji felt…fear. No, he wasn't afraid during tennis matches. There wasn't anything he couldn't prepare for so he didn't need to be afraid…except for this. So Fuji Syuusuke stood frozen, his cold blue eyes stared at the scene unfolding before him.

Swords glinting in the setting sun, fluttering of those black cloaks, the shrieks of the 'monster' as it slowly died off into non-existence. What was that all about? "Ichigo, he can see us." The girl spoke without a hint of hesitation. "What the hell! How can that be possible!" the orange headed teen shouted and turned, his fiery eyes looking right in Fuji's. "What should we do?" the girl spoke again.

Fuji flinched ever so slightly as the orange headed person walked towards him. "We'll probably have to erase his memory or something" the boy said to his partner who nodded. Fuji blinked, was that possible? He soon found out.

Snap. Fuji wondered what had happened. He was just standing on the street, zoning out. Vague memories of something extraordinary slipped away from his mind. What happened? Fuji would have never guessed, his memory of the things he had seen was gone. Everything. Sometime, just sometimes he would see two cloaked figures dashing past in the dim setting sun oh his way home…
