A/N: Hey guys. I'm sorry I've been MIA, RL has gotten hectic and I haven't had much ff time. I'll try and be better about that. I'm not pleased with it, but here we are with an old fic which I never posted which is too belated to be considered, but it was written for the Pairing The Character Challenge.
Everyone has scars. Charlie thought to himself as he brushed the hair out of his sleeping boyfriend's eyes. Harry unconsciously leaned into Charlie's touch. Some scars were physical, and some were internal. Charlie thought back to Fred's funeral which had taken place the week before, and his chest contacted painfully. That wound too would heal, leaving a brother shaped scar on his heart. He was very grateful to Harry, for everything he did for him and his family. It wasn't easy for either of them- Ginny was still bitter about the couple, Death Eaters still tried to avenge their fallen master, they still had their day jobs and not to mention the attention they always recieved from the press. He knew that it was one of the reason why Hary hated the press: the fact that they kept on picking at his healing scars. It might not be easy, but it didn't matter to Charlie. He loved Harry- scars and all.
