"EEEEEEEEELLLLLLLIIIIIISSSSSSS!"

The mechanic had been busy cooking a big batch of heart shaped banana pancakes when he heard Nick's angry roar from the upstairs bedroom. He looked up, but he didn't flinch or feel the need to run like he usually did when the conman sounded this angry with him. Instead he just grinned his big, goofy, crooked grin and set his spatula down so that he could get the syrup out of the cabinet and pour an unhealthy amount of the sticky sweetness on both stacks.

He had just set the plates on their kitchen table when he heard Nick thumping his way down the stairs, and saw him wobble into the room out of the corner of his eye. But when he turned around, and saw Nick standing there in the doorway like that, he fell into the floor and started rolling. Laughing so hard he had to grip his sides and gasp for air. Because the sight of Nick in that bunny outfit was just too much for him. He'd known it was going to be pretty funny to see, but he didn't expect it to be like this.

"I.. am... going.. to.. kill you.."

Nick ground out as he held onto the framing for support. Somehow during the night, the kid had cleaned out his entire closet and hid his clothes in some impossible hiding place in the house. Leaving Nick with no choice but to either be naked, or but on this bunny outfit that came from god knows where. The blue ears, why had he even put these on?, were a little too big and the right one kept flopping down in front of his face. Chest hair stuck out the top of the tight blue suit that clung to his body like the was some kind of playboy whore, the white stockings felt funny against his legs making the thousands of hairs there tickle at his skin just enough to make him want to start scratching and never stop. The white cuffs were a small comfort in this, but it was the blue heels that had taken the cake for him. If he made it out of this day alive he was going to make sure Ellis paid for this.

"N-n-now Nick! i-it aint t-that bad!."

"Oh it is!."

"no it aint, y-yoour going to l-look so..so...so cute today!."

"What in the fuck does this have to do with today?."

Ellis tried to gain some control on his uncontrollable laughter, and wiped a few tears from his eyes. Having to bite his lip pretty hard to keep from laughing all over again when he looked up at Nick.

"You know how much I like bunnies, it just seemed right for you to be one today."

Nick couldn't argue with that one, even if he wanted to, he did know how much Ellis liked bunnies.. and if this was going to be anything like that time they went to the pet store then they're was going to be plenty of bunny-like humping going on later tonight. That didn't stop him from being pissed about it though, and as he stumbled into the kitchen and sat down on his chair to eat Nick couldn't help but growl a little at the feel of that round ball of fluff they called a tail sticking into his back. Glaring at Ellis as he got up off the floor and gave Nick a quick kiss on the cheek before sitting down in his own seat.

"Happy valentines day Nick!."

Ellis couldn't help be grin as the heard the other man mumble out something that sounded a lot like a "fuck you" and stabbed the stack of pancakes with his fork, cutting off a piece with his knife and cramming the whole thing into his mouth. The big grin was still on his face, and every time he looked at Nick it only got bigger.

Today was going to be a good day.
