Yeah, I know. Nine technically Isn't the number of jinchuuriki coz Isonde was never sealed inside a vessel and for all we know some of the other demon's weren't either. We only know the locations of Kyuubi, Ichibi, Nibi, Sanbi and Yonbi.

Most people liked Even numbers. Straight up, easy to count, too calculate, and units generally looked better partnered up then a line with a stray.
Naruto liked Odds.
They were no easier to count, and if done in an unartistic way- yes, they usually did look worse off then Evens. But Naruto still liked Odds better. Some of his favourite- or rather- most memorable numbers were Odds.
He remembred Nine. He couldnt forget it! Nine was the number of the demon fox sealed inside him. It was the number of the tailed beasts- the Bijuu. But Naruto knew it best because it was also the number of Jinchuuriki -something Naruto made sure never to forget once he knew. There were other's just like him.
To Naruto; Seven was the number of his team. Always Team Seven. And despite all their misgivings and faults and flaws- Team Seven was effective. They got the job done. They were dedicated. And they were his trusted family.
Five was he number of his apartment. And it had been for some time. He rememberd very clearly, the first day he stood at the base of the door and looked up at the peeling paint and run down numbers and smiled. Five was his home.
Three was the number of team-mates he looked out for. When he did a head count on a dangerous mission; he counted to Three, and that was enough to convince him everyone was safe and accounted for. Even when Sasuke was gone, Sai took his number. When Kakashi had elsewhere to be; Yamato stepped in. Naruto sometimes wondered if he or Sakura went away; would their number be replaced so easily?
One was an odd number. It was the oddest of all the numbers. It's stood completely alone. It was always the stray.
Naruto likes One. He tries to use it whenever he can. Even if the add-on does make a nice clean Even into an Odd.
He rememberer's what it was like too be One.
