title: lust
summary: something more pure
dedication: oh you know who you are; if you think it's you, it's probably you.
notes: poor hikaru, that embryo of his. he no longer wanted it, because when it disappeared, it completed his dreams aka heart's eggs. get it/ yeah i don't either have fun with that

he wanted it then, to hold it in his hands.
something brighter than the sun,
something more iridescent than the monarch
fluttering it's way out of his net
the gray burlap sky shined into existence
with a roar louder than lion yet quieter
quieter than the mouse; it is true
he wanted it under that sky and God saw
awfully tired men stopped by the oasis
to drink that water of which was only sweat
until the oil pooled and pooled and erupted
in that iridescent flash he longed for
the oasis was gone. all that remained was -
- his flash, his and all his, to hold it in his hands
before he could blink, and it was his. it was his
never again; it was faster gone than the butterfly
he no longer wanted it then.
