Imperial Citadel-Byss
The Imperial Citadel on Byss was void of every one of Emperor Palpatine's most loyal subjects. They were sent off world for one purpose, to be unaware of the Emperor's master plan. Only two men were in the immense building, Emperor Palpatine and his closest adviser, Grand Vizier Sate Pestage. The two were close colleagues during Palpatine's time as Senator of Naboo, and Palpatine chose Pestage when he began his glorious rise to power as Supreme Chancellor. Even jedi master Mace Windu thought that Sate Pestage was Darth Sidious, who was really Palpatine in disguise. The two aging men looked out at the massive Imperial Fleet amassing above the planet. Palpatine's hideous voice spoke to Pestage "Sate, my friend…You have done well as Grand Vizier. I want you to do something of great importance for me." Sate Pestage bowed his head deeply and said "I will do as His Imperial Majesty commands…" Palpatine stood up from his throne and placed his gruesome hand on Pestage's shoulder, the Emperor smiled slightly and said to the Grand Vizier "You will go to the Outer Rim world of Rattatak…There you will find Governor Tarkin, He will be presenting a special test of the Super laser of the Death Star. Unfortunately, I have other matters to attend to, the Bothans want to make peace and I am required to travel to Bothawui to negotiate." Sate Pestage bowed deeply to the Emperor and left the Throne room, his dark purple robes fluttered as he walked down the dark steel corridors. Palpatine turned his throne towards the immense window to watch the Imperial Fleet massing far above Byss……
