Blue as the sea

The sea, early in the morning, dark and troubled

The sea, clear and bright, until you can see all the way to its heart

Blue, the day you were buried

The sea taking you in to its heart

But no more sea blue

The sky, the day you died- it was beautiful

Blue as the spaces between the clouds

Blue and beautiful, before swallowed by blood red sunset

Now no more sky blue

But the fire has gone out
