Hello C: This is my first fanfic (that I've ever posted). Reviews would be nice.

Helga G. Pataki isn't the average fifteen year old girl. She never was, and possibly never will be. Some blame her unsuitable parents,
and some blame her for just being the way she is. But no one understands her. No one except for her best friend, Phoebe.

"Helga, you must come out! Or at least let me in!" Phoebe pleaded from behind the bathroom door.

"Leave me alone to die, Phoebe. I'm never coming out, ever!" Helga screeched. However, Phoebe would not give up.

"It isn't the end of the world, Helga. There will be plenty more Bobby's. You'll see." Phoebe said, trying to be comforting.
No matter what she said, it wouldn't help. "I'm done, finished, caput! I'll be the laughing stock of the whole entire high school!"

This could be true, and Phoebe knew that. "Everyone will forget about this in a few days. Don't worry!" Phoebe gasped when a
loud THUD hit the door. Helga must've threw a shampoo bottle, or two.

"Go away!" Helga screamed, obviously choking back sobs. "Rejection...rejection...I can't take it anymore..." She mumbled,
loud enough for Phoebe to hear her. "Don't do this, Helga. We've been through this once before!"

The story of Helga's life: Fear of rejection. She was in love with a boy for nearly seven years, but it was complicated to say the least.
At one point, she finally mustered up the courage to tell this boy her true feelings, but they were so young then...And the damage
was already done. Helga wasn't the nicest girl to him, and he wasn't the most fond of her either.
That boy moved away in the seventh grade to be with his parents in their newfound home in Vermont.

It was the roughest year of Helga's life, but she managed to get over it by the time high school started, only to get caught up in
another boy, Bobby. He's an attractive Soccer player, and every girl's dream. Helga was just naive enough to think that her
dream came true. He publicly ruined her life, and possibly her whole high school experience. And she allowed him to.
Love, she decided this day in the bathroom, just isn't worth it.

Following chapters will be much longer; Just wanted to see what you all think. x
