Chapter 1:-

After completing my dinner I decided to read a fanfic. Half way through, I was so immersed that I barely noticed a golden light surrounding me and my world turn black.

I woke up with a frown. I was in a soft bed and the stench of a hospital hit me. Why was I in a hospital bed? Last time I checked, I was reading a fanfic in my house. Shocked, I turned my head to see that I was in a huge hospital room consisting of twenty beds which were in two rows; I hissed when shape pain shot through my head. I reached my left hand as I noticed the right one was attached to an IV, up to find that I instead of my hair I had a large bandage tied to my head. I gasped when I registered the size of my hand, it was small and soft, unlike my large hard hands. What happened to me? I gulped and slowly lifted my head to see that my body which was clad in a hospital gown was small, opposite to my original 6'3'' height. I must be 13 or maybe 14. I took a deep breath to stop myself from panicking and gently laid my aching head down on the pillow and started to clear my mind. I don't want an asthma attack now which always came when I stressed myself too much or when I panicked a lot. Suddenly huge amount of memories and information started flooding my mind. Memory after memory it went on for what seemed like forever before they stopped. I was feeling dizzy with the information overload.

After the dizzy spell faded, I opened my eyes in disbelief. This must be a dream or I had gone loony. I pinched my arm and felt pain. So this is not a dream. Then I had definitely gone loony.

Just then I heard a door open and saw Madam Perks the doctor of the orphanage come towards me. She smiled when she saw that I was awake and said," Hello, Noah how do you feel now? Does your head hurt?"

"Yeah a bit," I replied to the familiar, not so familiar doctor.

"Oh. Have this," said Madam Perks as she took out a tablet from her pocket and poured a glass of water from the jug on the side table. I signed internally as I slowly sat up with her help and did as she told. She then started gently probing my head as she said," Do you remember how you got injured?"

"Yeah, I hit my head to the basket ball pole," I said.

"Yes. That is true. Can you tell me about yourself?" asked Madam Perks as she sat on the chair beside the bed and opened a file which was on the bedside table. I stared at her confusedly. 'Why was she asking that?'

Seeing my confused look she elaborated," You hit your head pretty hard. I am just seeing if you have any memory loss". I nodded my head at her and started talking.

"I am Noah Harry Potter. My Parents are James and Lily Potter. I was left at this orphanage when I was fifteen months with a letter saying that my parents died and there was no one to look after me. I am ten and I will be turning eleven in a few weeks. My best friends are Kate and Jonathan. I love reading books, playing guitar and having fun."

She grinned with relief as she said "You mean pulling pranks."

"Same thing."

She smiled brightly as she said," Good. You don't seem to have any memory loss. Your condition was very serious. You lost a lot of blood and were in a coma for two weeks. We didn't know if you would get up or not." She said the last few parts sadly. I nodded my head to show that I understood, and then she left me to sleep.

What now? I Noah Julian White am in the Harry Potter Universe and I am none other than Harry Potter's elder twin brother and a wizard. What happened to the Noah who was here before I arrived? Just great. I signed as I closed my eyes. How did this happen? Will I be able to go back to my world again? Do I want to go back there? I have nothing there to live for. Sure I am a highly paid software engineer, I have a big house and I am rich. But I have no one to turn to if I am happy or sad. Here I have a twin brother, godparents and many memories of my parents who loved me. I have a family which I craved for. I don't think I want to go back.

It will be exciting to go to Hogwarts and learn magic but there is going to be that stupid self centered lunatic trying to kill Harry. I will be getting the Hogwarts letter in a few days and I will be meeting Harry on September 1st. Harry will be happy to know that he has a twin brother. But I can change that right? I am here for a reason. The timeline has already changed with me coming here. I don't want Harry to live with the Dursley's. He must be miserable there. How can I change that? Sirius is in Azkaban and Remus is god knows where. I can understand Sirius being imprisoned but why didn't Remus take me in? He is my Godfather for pete's sake.

Let's see, that old coot Dumbledore left me here. I never liked him. He was too much of a manipulator and always saw the big picture while forgetting about the little details. He must have told Remus that I am dead or that I have disappeared. Can't be the first one, as he didn't change my name. So it must be the later.

Who is left to help us? Amelia Bones is my godmother. She can help but how to contact her. Argh that stupid old fool! I could directly send a letter to the Ministry but I don't have an owl. The only thing that I can do for now is, wait for my Hogwarts letter. Then I have to go to Gringotts and see if they have a copy of my parents will. If they do then it will be easy to just send it to the DMLE as proof and release him. But if not then I will just send them a letter telling that Sirius is innocent yadayadayada with no signature. With that plan for now I soon drifted off to sleep.

A Week later

"You may go. But please take it easy for a few days," said Madam Perks as she did her final check up. I nodded my head and thanked her for her help and quickly left the hospital wing.

"Finally," I breathed as I stepped out of the wing where my friends Kate and Jonathan were waiting.

"Noah", shouted Kate as she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and released her. She stepped back as Jonathan pulled me into a brotherly hug which I returned.

"How are you, mate?" asked Jon as he pulled back.

"I am fine. What have you been doing?" I asked as I started walking towards mine and Jon's room.

"Nothing really. We were very scared. There was so much blood," said Kate as she gazed worriedly at me. I pulled her close to me and wrapped my arm around the smaller girl's shoulder.

"Sorry for worrying you," I said as I gazed at them.

"It's ok," said Jon as he smiled at me. As I entered the room I went straight to the mirror to see the injury and how I looked. There standing in front of him was a familiar and not so familiar person. I looked just like my mum from the memories not the one from the movies with messy dark red hair and almond shaped emerald green eyes but with masculine looks and without any freckles. And I also dint have any glasses like Harry and my dad. I was tall for my age. As I lifted my bangs I saw a large recently stitched cut which was slightly just below my hair line to a little left. It was angry red against the previously pale flawless skin. Thankfully the hair covered it up. I dropped my hair and went to my bed.

"Finished checking yourself out?" teased Jon lightly to lighten the mood.

"Yup. I am still the most handsome boy in the world," I answered as I sat across from them both on my bed. Jon rolled his eyes as Kate giggled.

"Big head," muttered Jon. I just stuck my tongue at him. The days passed uneventfully as I got used to the life at the orphanage which was very relaxing and bright than the one in my previous life.

July 15th

I woke up when I felt someone shaking me. "Go away Jon. Lemme sleep", I groaned as I pulled my covers up.

"Breakfast is in twenty minutes," I heard him say. That got me wide awake. I quickly stumbled into the hall and towards the showers with my grooming kit and towel. After getting ready for the day we set of towards the dining hall to fill our growling tummies. We met up with Kate there and had a large breakfast. Then we set of towards the library to read some novels.

As I sat deeply immersed in my Sherlock Holmes book I felt someone tap my shoulder. That got me to the present world. I looked up from my book with a frown to see who was disturbing me. Mason one of the older boys was standing above me.

"Headmistress is calling you," he said. I nodded my head and left the library after informing Kate and Jon where I was going.

I knocked on the door and waited for her permission to enter. I heard a soft but firm 'enter' and quickly opened the door and stepped inside. After closing the door behind me, I turned to Madam Wills and saw that she wasn't alone – A Lady was sitting in one of the chairs. I recognized her as Minerva McGonagall from my childhood. She used to visit us and play with us when we were small, she even babysat us many times when our parents were busy. I decided not to tell her that. I have to keep my cards close till I can trust anyone with my abilities and information. She was wearing a professional muggle suit which was mainly used for business meetings.

"Good Morning mam, what is it you called me for?" I asked politely as I quickly turned to Madam Wills.

Madam Wills smiled and replied, "Noah have a seat. This is Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts School. She wants to ask you if you wanted to attend." I took a seat beside McGonagall, smiled dazzlingly at Madam Wills and turned my attention back to Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall said as she turned to Madam Wills," If you don't mind can we talk privately?"

"Certainly," said Madam Wills with a smile as she shot a look at me which screamed behave. I nodded my head at her to reassure her.

"Hello, Mr. Potter," Minerva said kindly. That was the tone she used only for close friends and family members. "I'm Professor McGonagall, and I teach at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

I just sat there and stared in disbelief as I shouldn't know anything about magic now "I beg your pardon but magic?"

"You're very smart, aren't you?" the woman asked kindly.

"Relatively," I answered. Professor McGonagall pulled out her wand. It had intricate detail work that even I had to admire.

"Are you aware of what this is?"

"A magical wand?"

"That's right. I teach transfiguration at Hogwarts. Transfiguration is quite straightforward; you're transfiguring something."

"Avifors," McGonagall muttered, and Madam Wills's statue of a tree turned into a squawking bird. With another word, the bird vanished, and the tree stood once more.

"Here's your letter."

"You can't buy all this in London," I said softly as I continued my act.

"Only if you know where to go," Professor McGonagall replied. "There is a pub named Leaky Cauldron in the cheering cross road. Behind the Leaky Cauldron is a small courtyard. That's the entrance to Diagon Alley. It is the wizarding shopping district"

"Actually if you are free today we can go there now".

"Sure, we have holidays now," said I smiling at her then my face fell," But I don't have any money to buy all these things".

"Don't worry about it. Your parents set up a trust vault for you when you were born," said Professor McGonagall and started telling him about my parents and Harry. I then went to my room and changed into my best hand-me-down clothes which were a dark green shirt which matched my eyes, black jeans, black trainers and a black ball cap to avoid any unwanted attention. I and Professor McGonagall apparated to Leaky Cauldron after informing the headmistress that I was joining the school and we were going to buy the books.

We appeared with a small crack in an alley.

"This way Mr. Potter", said Professor McGonagall as she led me towards a white dinky looking pub.

The Leaky Cauldron looked just like it was described in the books – dark and shabby. We walked to the back of the pub silently. I watched as Professor McGonagall took out her wand and tapped the bricks in a pattern. I was so excited about going to Diagon Alley that I was almost bouncing like a child with sugar high. The bricks moved aside to reveal an amazing sight. I stood staring at the wonderful sites.

"Welcome," said Professor McGonagall, "to Diagon Alley."

She smiled at my amazement as we stepped through the archway. I looked quickly over my shoulder to see the bricks moving back to their place.

"You will have to tap the same pattern to step back into the Pub".

I turned my head in every direction as we walked up the street, trying to look at everything at once: the shops, the things outside them, the people doing their shopping.

A low, soft hooting came from a dark shop with a sign saying Eeylops Owl Emporium – Tawny, Screech, Barn, Brown, and Snowy. Several boys of about my age had their noses pressed against a window with broomsticks in it. "Look," I heard one of them say, "the new Nimbus Two Thousand – fastest ever –"

There were shops selling robes, shops selling telescopes and strange silver instruments I had never seen before, windows stacked with barrels of rat spleens and eels' eyes, tottering piles of spell books, quills, and rolls of parchment, potion bottles, globes of the moon….

"Gringotts the Wizarding Bank," said Professor McGonagall.

We have reached a snowy white building that towered over the other little shops. Standing beside its burnished bronze doors, wearing a uniform of scarlet and gold, was –

"This bank is run by goblins. Please be careful when dealing with them," said Professor McGonagall quietly as we walked up the white stone steps toward him. The goblin near the entrance bowed as we walked inside and I returned the gesture noticing the goblin's slightly shocked expression from the corner of my eye. Now they were facing a second pair of doors, silver this time, with words engraved upon them:

Enter, stranger, but take heed

Of what awaits the sin of greed,

For those who take, but do not earn,

Must pay most dearly in their turn.

So if you seek beneath our floors

A treasure that was never yours,

Thief, you have been warned, beware

Of finding more than treasure there.

Not exactly the most cheerful thing to read.

A pair of goblins bowed us through the silver doors and I returned the gesture and we were in a vast marble hall. About a hundred more goblins were sitting on high stools behind a long counter, scribbling in large ledgers, weighing coins in brass scales, examining precious stones through eyeglasses. There were too many doors to count leading off the hall, and yet more goblins were showing people in and out of these. McGonagall and I made for the counter.

"Morning," McGonagall said to a free goblin. "We've come to take some money out of Mr. Noah Potter's safe." I bowed my head slightly in respect. The goblin looked at me and bowed back.

"Does he have his key, madam?"

"Yes, here it is", said Professor McGonagall as she handed him a key.

The goblin looked at it closely."That seems to be in order."

"I will have someone take you down to the vault. Griphook!" called the goblin. Professor McGonagall and I quickly followed Griphook to the carts.

Griphook whistled and a small cart came hurtling up the tracks toward us. We climbed in and were off. I enjoyed it very much as it travelled twice faster than the actual roller coaster. We quickly reached the vault and got out of the cart.

Griphook unlocked the door. A lot of green smoke came billowing out, and as it cleared, I gasped at the gold. Seeing in the movies is one thing and seeing with your own eyes is one thing. Inside were mounds of gold coins, columns of silver and heaps of little bronze Knuts.

'The gold ones are Galleons, Seventeen silver Sickles to a Galleon and twenty-nine Knuts to a Sickle, for your shopping and some spending money 150 Galleons will be more than sufficient ," instructed Professor McGonagall as she gave him a money bag. After collecting the required amount and a few extra I turned to the Professor and Griphook.

"Can you please tell me the exchange rate of Galleons to pounds?"

"Today it is 1 Galleon to 50 pound sterling," said Griphook. I whistled at the cost and grabbed a handful from the golden pile and turned to Griphook.

"Can you please exchange them to pounds for me?" I asked Griphook.

"Certainly", said the goblin and we went back to the surface. After a few minutes Griphook brought back the converted money. After thanking the goblin we stepped out of the bank.

"Professor if you don't mind, after our shopping here can we go to the muggle London so I can buy some clothes and a few items. In the orphanage we only get second hands", I asked the Professor as she led me towards the trunk shop.

"Certainly, But please refrain from spending money on unnecessary things. Why don't we buy a trunk first it will be easy to carry your supplies," said the Professor. I smiled and thanked her.

After a bit of debate we left the shop with a three compartment trunk. The first compartment is for school items and clothes, double the size of normal school trunk. The second compartment is a large (empty for now) library with undetected extension charm. It had many rows of wooden shelves for books. And the last compartment is for personal items with undetected extension charm. The trunk was also warded with anti-theft, anti-damage, a complicated locking mechanism, feature light charm and shrinking charm. The last two charms can be activated with placing my hand on the lid and saying the word i.e If I say shrink then it shrinks.

After buying the robes and other equipment we stepped into the bookstore.

"I will collect the first year books, why don't you browse and see if you need any others?" said Minerva at my eager expression.

I grinned at her and quickly took off towards the shelves and started browsing the titles and their description to see if anything catches my interest. After fifteen minutes I had a huge stack of books that I want to read. I carried them to the cash counter and dumped them carefully. Professor McGonagall raised an amused eyebrow at the huge stack but didn't comment.

The books were Wizarding customs, Ancient and Nobel Houses of Magical Britain, Goblin Customs, Technomagics by Eris Imai, The tails of Beetle the Bart, Practical Household Magic by Zamira Gulch, Complete Guide to protect your mind from outer forces( Occlumency) by Nicolas Flamel, Beginners Guide to the Art of Dueling by Alaster Moody, Curses and Countercurses (Bewitch Your Friends and Befuddle Your Enemies with the Latest Revenges: Hair Loss, Jelly-Legs, Tongue-Tying and Much, Much More) by Professor Vindictus Viridian, Hogwarts A History by Bathilda Bagshot, A Beginners Guide to the Art of Potion Making (protection measures, properties, mixing techniques, ingredient preparation methods, explanations about why to do that specific step and much more) by Perenelle Flamel, Learn Magic Fast with Kwikspell, Mischief Makers Magical Manual by The Marauders, Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century by Bathilda Bagshot and Wandless Magic by Myrddin Wyllt.

"Wait Potter", said Professor McGonagall as I started putting them into my trunk" Let me charm your books so that if any of your muggle friends see or read them. They will see some muggle book and they will get distracted by other things."

"Cant I tell my best friends also?" I asked.

"Sorry, but no. The wizarding world is under statute of secrecy. You can't tell them and you can't do magic infront of them or anywhere for that matter as you are an underage wizard", She explained. I nodded my head and let her charm the books. We soon left to buy stationary.

"Professor Do we have to use quills for everything?" I asked as I watched the shopkeeper count the total for the rolls of parchment and quills.

"Not really. But you have to use them for your assignments and examinations," said the Professor."Try to practice writing with a quill when you are alone as it is different from muggle pens and pencils". I nodded at her as I put the items in the trunk after enlarging it.

After buying all the required items we entered the Eeylops Owl Emporium and I started to see if I can find any owls. At the back of the shop I found a single snowy owl with yellow eyes sitting in her cage sadly. She perked up when she saw me. I knew it was Hedwig from the description.

I reached a hand out towards it and stroked it feathers as I whispered," Hello there beautiful, Sorry I can't take you". The owl signed sadly.

"Hey don't be sad. My brother will come in a few days to take you. You will like him. He has my eyes if you have to recognize him. He will be the best master for you." Hedwig perked up at that.

"Can you do me a favor?" I asked her as I continued to pet her. Hedwig nodded her head.

"I was separated from my brother when we were just fledglings. He probably doesn't even remember me. Can you come to me when he takes you home so I can send him some letters?"

Hedwig bobbed her head with a serious look in her eyes.

"Thank you. You are a very smart owl aren't you? I will see you later then," I said as I gave her one final stroke. Hedwig swelled with pride and gave an affectionate nip to my fingers. I chuckled at her and went back to the front. I didn't need an owl now as I can borrow Hedwig from Harry, I am not a cat person and I hate toads.

"Professor Can I buy an animal which is not an owl, cat or a toad?" I asked the Professor who was chatting with the shopkeeper.

"Yes. But it should not harm other students or their pets. If it does we will be sending it away," said Professor McGonagall. I beamed at her and agreed.

We entered the Magical Menagerie. I started searching to see if there are any dogs. I found a small snow white puppy with dark blue eyes in the back of the shop in a cage and kneed down to its level. I felt an immediate pull towards it and reached out my hand into its cage and waited as I gazed into its eyes. The puppy slowly got up and came towards me and licked my fingers. I noticed that it was a female. I smiled at her and got up and told the owner of the shop that I wanted her. After five minutes we left the shop as I happily carried the basket containing my pup.

"Well. The only thing that is left, is your wand", said Professor McGonagall as she gazed at me. I smiled happily at her and nodded my head. Her lips twitched slightly into a barely noticeable smile.

A tinkling bell rang somewhere in the depths of the shop as we stepped inside. The hairs on the back of my neck tingled at the magic present in the air. I felt someone behind me and I turned just in time to see an old man step in from his dark corner saying, "Good afternoon." Professor McGonagall jumped slightly and turned as she said, "Hello Mr. Ollivander".

"Ah Minerva McGonagall, 9 ½ inches fir with Dragon heartstring stiff and incredible for transfiguration, wasn't it?" said Mr. Ollivander. Professor McGonagall gave a small smile and nodded.

He then turned to me and said "Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Noah Potter." It wasn't a question."You look just like your mother. It seems only yesterday she was in here herself, buying her first wand.

"Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wand for charm work."

Mr. Ollivander moved closer to me. "Your father, on the other hand, favored a mahogany wand. Eleven inches. Pliable. A little more power and excellent for transfiguration.

Ollivander pulled a long tape measure with silver marking out of his pocket. "Which is your wand arm?"

"I'm Ambidextrous," I said and the next few minutes passed as the tape measured all parts of my body.

As I was measured, Ollivander said, "Every Ollivander wand has a core of a powerful magical substance, Mr. Potter. We mainly use unicorn hairs, phoenix tail feathers and the heartstrings of dragons. No two Ollivander wands are the same, just as no two unicorns or dragons or phoenixes are quite the same. And of course, you will never get such good results with another wizard's wand."

Mr. Ollivander was flitting around the shelves, taking down boxes.

"That will do," he said, and the tape measure crumpled into a heap on the floor. "Right then, Mr. Potter. Try this one. Beechwood and dragon inches. Nice and flexible. Just take it and give it a wave."

I took the smooth polished wand and gave it a Mr. Ollivander took it out of my hand almost at once.

"Maple and phoenix feather. Seven inches. whippy. Try -"

I tried - but I had hardly raised it when it, too, was snatched back by Mr. Ollivander.

"No, no - here, ebony and unicorn hair, eight and a half inches, springy. Go on, go on, try it out."

I tried. And tried. The pile of tried wands was mounting higher and higher on the spindly chair, but the more wands Mr. Ollivander pulled from the shelves, the happier he seemed to become.

"Tricky customer, eh? Not to worry, we'll find the perfect match here somewhere - I wonder, now - yes, why not - unusual combination - holly and phoenix feather, eleven inches, nice and supple."

I took the wand and gave it a wave, a shelf full of wands were knocked out.

"no, no I think one other wand is there", muttered Mr. Ollivander as he left to the back of the shop. He then came with an old box in his hand and gave a smooth black wand to me.

I took it and felt sudden warmth in my hand which flowed slowly through my whole body. I then gave it a wave and golden sparks shot from the end like a firework, throwing dancing spots of light on the walls as I glowed in golden light. Magic was crackling around me.

Professor McGonagall clapped and Mr. Ollivander cried, "Oh, bravo! Yes, indeed, oh, very good. The wand is made of Rowan wood with Giffin claw and Pheonix heart string, thirteen inches, nice and supple. This wand is very very powerful Mr. Potter as it is made of two cores. It was made by one of my ancestors in 1684. It has been in this shop since then."

He put my wand back into its box and wrapped it in brown paper, as he spoke, "We can expect great things from you Mr. Potter".

"That will be 10 galleons as it was made of two cores," said Ollivander.

"Mr. Ollivander, do you have any wand hoisters?" I asked remembering Moody telling not to keep your wand in your back pocket. I am happy with my bollocks thank you very much.

"Yes. I have wrist hoisters, leg hoisters and a hoister which comes at the hip in dragon hide and Acromantula," said Mr. Ollivander. "I can also put blood lock and invisible rune keyed to only you on it if you want."

"Yes please. I want a wrist hoister," I said as he pulled out the different hoisters from a shelf which appeared when he pushed a button at his desk.

"Place a drop of your blood here," He instructed as he made a small cut on my finger.

"The total is 13 galleons Mr. Potter," We left the shop after I paid him.

"Why don't we have some lunch at the Leaky Cauldron before we got to the muggle world?" asked Professor McGonagall as we headed towards the pub. We took a seat in one of the back booths of the busy pub away from others. Must be the lunch rush.

I took out my pup from her basket and set her on my lap.

"Hello there. I shall name you Lily after my mother. Do you like it?" I said as I gently stroked her head. She leaned into the touch and gave a bark as she waved her tail excitedly.

A slightly old man came to us and smiled as he said," Good Afternoon Professor McGonagall. What would you and the young lad have for lunch?"

"Good Afternoon Tom, what is today's special?" asked the Professor.

"Sheppard's pie", said Tom the bartender.

"Two please, two butterbeers and a glass of milk for the pup," said the Professor at my nod. Tom left to get their order.

"These are a few manuals that will help explain the wizarding world," The Professor retrieved a few manuals from her robe pocket. I nodded my head and set them aside.

"If you have any doubts just come to me when you arrive at Hogwarts. Term starts on September 1st. At King's cross station there is a platform called platform nine and three quarters. There is a pillar between platform 9 and 10. You should just run into it. It's a portal. Nothing will happen to you. On the other side you will find the Hogwarts express. It leaves the platform at 11:00 am." She explained. Tom came back with two plates of Sheppard's pie, two chilled mugs of yellow liquid with foam and a glass of Luke warm milk.

I poured the milk into the milk dish for Lily and set her with the dish beside me. She happily started lapping onto it.

I then took a tentative sip from my mug and instantly liked the taste. After we were left alone, we ate silently for some time as we were quite hungry from our shopping.

"Mr. Potter do you have any questions?" asked the Professor as she watched me set my fork down on my empty plate.

"Yes. Well, you said that I have a twin brother called Harry. Do you know why I am not with him?" I asked as I gazed into her eyes.

She signed as she took a sip from her butterbeer. Then she started explaining about the last war, how Voldemort terrorized them, how my parents went into hiding, how they were attack by him and about how they found only Harry in the cottage, the search for me and how she found him with help of the address that the addressing quill at Hogwarts wrote.

"Oh. Does anyone know that I was found?" I asked her.

"No. We didn't tell anyone yet. We will tell them after you are safely back at the orphanage so you wouldn't be mobbed."

I nodded at her answer and turned to Lily when I felt a nudge.

"Finished already? Good job," I praised her as I wiped her mouth with my hanky. She gave a shot bark and climbed my lap where she soon fell asleep.

The bartender returned to collect the plates and money."That's a galleon", he said.

"I'll pay, dear Professor, to repay you for your lovely act of kindness in bringing me here," I said winningly. "I can't ever repay the fact that you escorted me here, but let me show you my kindness in the mundane form of money."

Professor McGonagall's lips twitched as she said," Flattering will get you nowhere with me Mr. Potter".

"Oh my, You wound me my lady," I said as I dramatically clutched my heart.

"Your father was a charmer too in his youth," commented Professor McGonagall as she rolled her eyes.

"Did you know him and my mum?" I asked her eagerly as I finished paying Tom.

"Yes. I knew them. They were my students. James was a charmer, a prankster and he was a wonderful person. He was the top student in my subject. I didn't have to teach him anything till his seventh year. He was a head boy then. As for your mother she is the kindest and gentlest person I have ever met. She was also the most intelligent witch of her age. She was a prefect and a head girl. She had a fierce temper. From first year onwards your father was behind her asking her to be his girlfriend. She didn't accept him as she thought that he was immature. She finally accepted him in the beginning of their seventh year when he grew up. They married right after their seventh year. James joined in Auror training and Lily completed her Potions and Charms Masteries. Then she became pregnant with you both and stayed at home did research for the unspeakable department. After James completed his Auror training he joined the Aurors in fighting the war. When you both were born Voldemort took an interest in you both so your parents went into hiding. If you want I can give you some photos of them"

I listened intently as she explained this all.

"Thank you Professor. I had like that," I said as we stood up and made our way towards the muggle London. We apparated behind a large shopping mall and Professor McGonagall looked around as I started collecting new clothes. I had a fairly good fashion sense so it was going smoothly. In half an hour I had seven T-shirts, four jeans, two hoodies, a winter coat, glows, three pajamas, a bath robe, boxers, socks and three pairs of shoes (trainers, combat boots and winter boots). After that I bought two watches (one for me and one for Harry) which worked on pulse, roller skates, a book bag, stationary supplies, a new transparent guitar and a large collection of latest and popular songs musical notes.

As I dumped all my new things into my trunk to sort later I said," Thank you so much professor for your time. I wouldn't have been able to buy them as we are not allowed out of the building except for school."

"You are welcome Mr. Potter. Now we shall go," said Professor McGonagall with a smile as she held up her right hand for me to take. I nodded at her with a smile and took her hand. The familiar sensation from that morning came and we disappeared with a small crack.

We appeared in a rundown alley near the orphanage. After dropping me in the headmistress' office with my enlarged trunk and Lily's basket Professor McGonagall had a final word with the Headmistress about when the term starts and ends before leaving.
