"A New Destiny"
A million things were running through Megamind's head as he flew towards the cheering crowd as Metro Man. For one, he would have to pretend to be the dead-and-now alive superhero just like he had pretended to be Bernard. That meant he'd have to lie to everyone in the whole city, including Roxanne. Roxanne...oh, how he didn't want to lie to her again. The first time had been too painful. But if he revealed himself to be Megamind now, the moment would be ruined. He was standing (or rather, floating) in front of her now, and she was smiling up at him like no tomorrow, increasing the guilt Megamind felt.
He gave her a weak smile, trying to brighten the mood for himself. If living as Metro Man meant he could fianlly be a hero and Metrocity, especially Roxanne would be happy...then so be it. Minion could fake 'Megamind's' death and everything would be right in the world once again.
But when Roxanne suddenly motioned for him to take her hand, he did so and watched as she reached her arm out towards his watch. Shock overcame him when she turned it, causing his true self to be revealed. She smiled up at him and he couldn't help but smile back. A surprised crowd gasped and exchanged confused glances at each other when they saw Megamind had really been the true hero to defeat Tighten.
It was then Megamind realized everything was right in the world. He didn't have to pretend to be someone else at all, and that - perhaps, his previous destiny had just been a misunderstanding.
