It's my first poem about Kagome. It's really sad. It's about the all the sadness that she hides behind her smile.

Dead Beneath the Smiles and Lies

Nothing is ever going to be alright
Until the end of time in the dead of night

Wandering here in this desolate life
I wonder if I'll survive to see the dawn of light

I tried to hold on tight
But I slipped away into the dark abyss

Falling into the darkness
There I will die

It's a shame that you believed my lies
You never saw my pain beneath the smile
You never heard my cries among the laughs

Sometimes at night
I'd lie awake
And wonder if I'd die tonight

Among the stars
And among the moons
I wonder if you'd miss me too

I lay here bleeding
I lay here dying
But you don't notice that I am crying

Eternal darkness surrounding me
My shattered soul cries out to be free
Lost in the coldness I sit here waiting for death to take me

Drowning in my blood the end is near
I have no fear
For my life is fading

You can't save me
For it's too late
My final breath is disappearing

Now I am dead for eternity
Leaving me in solitude
Forsaken comfort that only death can bring

A/N: So how did everyone like that poem. Actually I wrote it to be a song, but then I realized I can't sing. And I think some of those lines are kinda similar to some other songs that I have heard, but I'm not really sure. Okay people now review and tell me of you liked it or not.
