He knew this was stupid. Idiotic. But what other option was there? He couldn't let them die. He sighed and looked at the thing that held his friends captive and muttered a few words. And then he did the impossible. The unthinkable. The craziest thing he'd ever done. He jumped, heading straight for the creature.

He yelled at the being to let his friends go, immediately after grabbing onto its forged armor. And after a while, surprisingly, it did. But he could feel his life being drained away from the overwhelming power the armor held. He was warned that you could never hold all four at the same time, even though it was done before. You could only bear them with enough power, and this guy fit the bill. He didn't. He was only a mortal. That didn't stop him from using his own powers. He began to attempt to kill the demonic thing, using his powers to freeze the being. It was working.

After he used up most of his energy into his attack, he knew he was on the verge of death. He thought of his past. His father, his friends, his crush. Everything that was important that he had ever done. And then he thought of his sister.

What would she say about this? If he survived, she'd surely give him a smack to the face or some kind of verbal abuse, although he knew she'd forgive him in the end. But if he didn't live through this, he could imagine her crying for hours, even depressed for weeks, maybe months. But he had to do this. To save her. To save his friends.

His pulse stopped. He verged into nothingness. He thought of one last thing before he was gone.

To save Ninjago.
