Chapter One: How did I get here?
Time for me to fly

Time for me to live

Time for me to lay down all my worries
And spread my wings.
The gigantic me sang on the easily 50 foot screen; I stared in amazement. Is that really me?
I'm Karlotta Widowson. My parents are Josh and Janet Rolotov. The film stars. As you've probably guessed, Widowson is my stage surname.
A close family friend, Jerry Mattero, directs movies, including ten of my parents' movies. This is his movie, Behind The Scenes, about a aspiring singer.
I'm 16, my elder sisters, Kristina and Katerina, are 19 and 21, respectively.
All I can think right now as I sat, watching the movie premiere, is How did I get here?
I thought back over the last couple months, from Jerry first hiring me to right now at the premiere.
It's been an incredible experience.
