"Ciel! Mother! Father!" I scream into the raging flames. Here, before me, is my mansion and field I grew up in, Burning to a crisp…With my family inside of it. I fall to my knees. My tears are the only thing keeping my face from burning up, since they're as cold as ice. I start crawling backwards as the fire rages closer.
They're dead
…
All of them
…
I lay down, looking at the ashes, which used to be my home. The fire has burned out, and now it is no more than a few blocks. My father told stories of summoning demons for revenge. I used to tell dad that if he died, I'd avenge him. I mean, I don't exactly believe the stories anymore, but it's worth a try!
I take a sharp stick and cut myself. My crimson blood drizzles onto the ash. I guide it, making a star. I hesitate, then add a circle around it. I wait for a second. "Hello?" I call. Everything goes dark. Suddenly, I'm in a room surrounded by black feathers.
"What is your wish?" I hear a voice. A raven lands by me. "Ah, I see. Merely a child. You know that summoning me comes with the price of your soul?" I swear I see him smirk. Is that even humanly- or in this case, Ravenly- possible? I stare at him for a second. No, I didn't know that… I think to myself. "Er- Of course I did. Why would I summon you if I didn't!" I scowl. He laughs. "OK. Who do you wish to get revenge on?" He asks. "The people who killed my parents." I have the urge to spit, but no proper lady would spit. That's what my mother told me.
He suddenly morphs into a handsome man, probably in his twenties. "And, you are fine with me taking your soul?" He bows. I sigh. "I'd rather not, but a girl's got to do what she's got to do." He smiles, touching my right eye. I wince, as a shot of pain goes through it. "Sorry, your Highness. Did that hurt?" he asks, bandaging my eye up. "It's fine, Charles-" I cover my mouth. "Oh, I'm sorry. My fathers name was Charles. What's your name?" I ask nervously. He laughs. "My name is the name you give me." He says. "Then Charles it is." I say.
He bows. "Yes, your Highness." 'Your Highness' …I quite like that. "Oh, by the way, I'm Risa. Risa Phantomhive." I tell him. "You look like a Princess Risa to me." He kneels down and kisses my hand. My face goes red. "Stop that, you're making me blush!" I giggle,
Pulling him up.
Suddenly, I wake up on the mountain again. The only things that are different are Charles, and the giant house he's taking me in. "W-what's this?" I ask. "I built it while you where sleeping." He says. Sleeping? "How long was I out?" I ask him. "About a week." he answers. He built all of this in a week?! I walk in, and he hands me the news paper. "I don't care for the news." I hand it back. "Yes, I figured. But I think you'll be interested in this." he hands it back. I sigh. "Fine." I read the heading. 'Ciel Phantomhive is back!' It says. I gasp. "C-Ciel?!"
