AN: I'm starting to think I might have a problem. I mean really, two new stories in one day when I said I wasn't working on any? Darn you muse for getting away from me! At least it's already complete so you won't need to worry about waiting for me to finish it. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own nothing more than the idea to make this and the computer used to type it up. The characters, plot, and some of the text belong to HerInteractive.

Just like with Ladybug, Ladybug, don't read unless you have completed the game as there are major spoilers. Thank you!

Dear Hannah,

Victor was rushed to the hospital, and then to a courthouse where he was charged with the murder of Niko Jovic. At least, that's what everyone thought was going to happen. However, things turned out a bit differently from what we expected…

When the police came to arrest Victor they made me come along with them to the hospital to get checked out. I told them I was fine, but I guess they just wanted to make sure I wasn't in shock or something; pardon the pun.

While the doctors were treating Victor, the police explained to me what had actually occurred on that fateful night. Much to my surprise, they told me that Niko wasn't dead! Somehow he had managed to avert some of the damage from the Tesla Coil, so instead of being killed he was only seriously wounded. The paramedics were able to revive him and transported him to the hospital for further treatment.

In order to prevent a follow-up attempt on his life, the police announced that Niko was dead and began to investigate his "murder". The chief of police told me that he had thought something was strange with how forcefully Victor had accused Ryan, but they didn't have enough evidence one way or the other. So they were actually glad that he got fed up and called me in to solve the case.

All the same, the chief gave me a big lecture about the wisdom in taking on a murder case by myself and not contacting the police once. I promised I would be more careful in the future.

The doctors say that they are not certain that Niko will ever be one hundred percent of his former self, but he should recover soon.

So, instead of murder, Victor is now facing charges of several counts of attempted murder. With Gray, Niko, and my testimony, he doesn't stand a good chance. Due to his attempts to subvert justice, he's been denied bail until his trial. Word is he's willing to strike a plea deal for leniency. But I doubt there will be much to be found. The potential buyers Victor had been courting came forward immediately. It was quickly proven that they had no idea about Victor's attempt to kill Niko. Regardless, they decided to cut funding for the lab immediately. I can hardly blame them.

Ryan was extremely relieved to find out that not only was Niko alive, but that it wasn't her fault that he was almost killed. She is now finally able to forgive herself and move on from that night.

I'm not sure what will happen to Mason and Ellie, but as soon as Niko's better I'm positive that they're going to have a stern talking to.

I'll fill you in on the rest when I get home. Can't wait to see you!

Love,

Nancy
