Happy St. Patrick's Day!
"Brother, what's St. Patrick's Day?" asked Max, a five-year old human.
His sixteen year old brother, Mathew turned around in his comfy spiny chair to look at his younger brother standing at his door. He mental scolded himself for forgetting about the holiday being tomorrow.
"Well, it's a holiday to celebrate a man named Saint Patrick, who lived a long time ago." he began to explain.
Max still looked confused.
"My friend said people don't wear green stuff on that day get pinched." said Max.
"Well yes that's true, but don't worry as long as you wear green on St. Patrick's Day nobody will pinch you.
"Okay!" Max said in a high pitch voice. He than left his brother's room to go play with his toys. Mathew went back to his school work and made a mental note to wear green tomorrow.
The next day, Max and Mathew were at Kiru City, exploring all the sights and sounds. Both were wearing all green cloths to make sure no one will pinch them, even though Mathew was pretty sure that will not happen in Perim.
"Brother, why is no body wearing green?" asked Max.
"Because Overworlders don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day." he explained.
Max was sad at hearing that, but he know that he and his brother celebrated the holiday. Mathew was distracted by a road side-show were a creature was swallowing a sword that was on fire. So he didn't notice that his little brother sneaked away to go pinch a famous Overworlder.
"Och!" yelled Intress. She was surprised that a Chaotic player that was probably the youngest human she ever saw, had pinched her on the arm for no reason. Good thing he was so young, Intress had a soft spot for youngsters.
"Why did you pinch me young one?" she nicely asked.
"Cuz it's Patrick's Day." he said like she should have know that.
"There you are!" shouted Mathew as he ran up to Max and picked him up. "What did I say about running off?" he scolded him.
"Don't do it." Max said while giving Mathew a puppy dog pout. Looking up, Mathew just now noticed Intress standing there and staring at them.
"What is Patrick's Day and why did he pinch me?" she asked Mathew.
"Oh well you see. . ."
"Intress there you are. I have been looking for you." Maxxor cut Mathew off as he approached hem.
Max looked at the Overworld leader with wide eyes and confusion written all over his face.
"Brother he ain't wearing green, but he is green. Does that mean I can or can't pinch him?" Max asked.
Mathew slapped his head while Maxxor looked at the child in confusion. Intress actually giggled at the funny scene.
If you are from a different country than America than you might not know that pinching some one when they don't wear green is something young American and I think some other countries kids do on the holiday.
