"Get away!" The yell of fear leaves the young girl's mouth as she leaps across a fresh river. "Stay back!" She cries with sadness as a taller female chases her. Ducking under an oak tree branch the blond girl turns and looks with her wide blue eyes at her chaser.
Standing just 10 meters away is another girl. With shoulder length brown hair and many freckles the girl's dark brown eyes roam the forest in hope of seeing their prey. "Please no" the blond girl mumbles to herself as she moves quietly to stand hidden behind the oak tree itself.
With many exhausted breaths she falls to the moss covered floor, her face now dripping tears. "Why?" She questions quietly to herself as tears start to leak from her eyes, looking down at the moss before her, slim hands start to play with the small plant. "Why?" She repeats to herself, tears now falling like never before.
"Christa!" The yell of the brown haired female makes Christa freeze in fear. Letting go of the moss her small hands retreat back to her chest, footsteps alert her that the taller female is nearing where she hides.
"Ymir" Christa mumbles the name of her pursuer with sadness, the nearing footsteps start to mean nothing as the memory of how this happened edges into Christa's mind.
"Come on!" the complain leaves Jean's mouth as the horse like male turns to glare at Eren. Wearing his usual attire the brown haired titan shifter smirks, a devilish look in his eye.
"What's the matter?" He questions with a tease "too afraid about joining now?" Glaring down at the shorter male Jean groan in annoyance.
"Just shut up" he grumbles before turning and walking away, his wet shirt dripping water with every step.
"Eren" Christa says, her kind blue eyes find the greenish eyes of her fellow cadet. "That wasn't nice, spilling water on him" Eren frowns looking away, before Christa can speak an arm wraps around her.
"Cheer up!" the cheerful voice of Ymir makes the smaller blond girl smile. Her blue eyes glance at Ymir's smiling face.
"Then you need to smile more" the comment brings an annoyed look into her friend's eye. With a huff Ymir ignores Christa and just starts to eat her food, Christa smiles to herself before looking at her plate of food. Taking a bite of her bread her eyes find Sasha's hungry ones.
"Christa" Ymir says with a warning voice, ignoring the tone Christa goes ahead with her plan, handing Sasha her second slice of bread. Wide eyes and a thank you very much is the reply from the hungry girl as she gobbles up the given food.
"There you are" the voice of Ymir snaps Christa from her thoughts. Looking into her friend's eyes she doesn't see anger like expected instead simple caring eyes look at her. "Why'd you run away?" The question makes anxiety grow inside the smaller girl. Looking down and away from the brown haired friend Christa lets a small smile grow on her face.
"I wanted you to be safe" the soft voice of the blond haired girls makes Ymir tense up. Her dark brown eyes soften when the smaller starts to shake with fear. Sitting down beside Christa Ymir starts to rub the blond hair softly.
"You didn't have too, everyone understands what you did, you're not in trouble for yelling at me. If anything it's me to blame for listening to you, so don't feel bad Christa, understand?" Blue eyes look up and find dark brown. Just as the moon starts to peek from behind a cloud both girls feel right, sitting there with one another there arms connected.
Looking into blue eyes Ymir makes the first move by connecting her and Christa's lips. The two then stay there, under the calm sky, everything else momentarily forgotten.
