Doraemon was a lonely and defective cat robot who attended the Robot Academy.
He had a few friends, but everybody else laughed at him because of his defective performance at using gadgets from his pocket.
And now, not only did he have his ears bitten off by a robotic mouse, his girlfriend, a tall female purple robot cat named Noramyako, laughed at him after his bitten ears were removed by the robot surgeons after the incident.
Doraemon truely felt depressed after this.
So much so, that his tears of sadness washed his yellow paint off after a night of crying alone.
One day, while Doraemon was looking outside a large glass window in the Matsushiba Robot Factory, an elderly robot scientist found a yellow female cat robot without any ears.
He later discovered that somehow, this robot and Doraemon had the same oil within their bodies. Doraemon has the filtered oil, the female yellow cat robot had the clean oil.
That meant that Doraemon was more strict than this robot was.
The scientist decided to give the robot a large red bow on the back of her head as a compensation for ears.
He put the red bow on the robot and decided to tell Doraemon the surprise.
Doraemon was still moping, looking out the glass window near the room.
He was remembering his yellow paint and ears before it happened.
Nobody understood how it felt without ears.
All he wanted was to be normal again, like everyone else.
But then, the lab door opened, Doraemon heard the sound of the door sliding open with a clang.
Doraemon turned around, and he saw a female robot cat with pink on her cheeks, a pocket on her chest with red patterns on it, large eyes with three eyelashes on each, but the most surprising part of this feminine robot was that...she had no ears, but rather a large bright red bow on the back of her head instead of ears, like everyone else.
The scientist came in as Doraemon stared at the robot yellow cat with a surprised expression.
The scientist said with a joyful tone of voice, "Hey Doraemon...this is Dorami-chan, your new little sister made with the same oil you have, so congratulations, Doraemon."
Doraemon was speechless, he has a sister now?
He thought she looked cute, to be honest. He felt so happy inside, he introduced himself to his new sister, Dorami.
He said cheerfully, "Dorami...you may not have your ears, but your bow makes you look cuter. I'm Doraemon, your brother!"
Dorami smiled cutely and said, "Nice to meet you, Onii-chan!" She giggled after saying this.
Doraemon felt happy that day.
He may have lost his ears and yellow paint, but he has a family now.
He was proud to be a big brother.
And Dorami felt the same way as Doraemon.
Doraemon and Dorami are cute siblings. I think that they should get an episode together, showcasing their sibling bond.
Fun Fact: Did you know, when Dorami first appeared in 1973, she wasn't even considered Doraemon's sister yet? She was originally supposed to be his girlfriend instead of Noramyako.
Japanese = Onii-chan means Big Brother in Japanese.
