Botany (Zetsu/TenTen)
This is for an art exchange with Maiumaora! She requested something fluffy and cracky so that's what she gets :D Hopefully it'll be what she wants! Sorry it's a little short, this is a really different pairing for me XD
"Could you pass me the fertilizer?" TenTen asks holding her glove-covered hand out to her coworker. Zetsu hesitates a second, his fingers twitching a little as his also glove-covered hand hovers over the bags of fertilizer, wanting to find the right one for the hydrangea she's pruning.
"Here," His white side says in a small voice, shying away from her as soon as the bag is in her hand. White Zetsu is very shy. Black Zetsu is a total a$$. They're a good match. They balance each other out.
"Pass the water?" She asks and he nods, instantly passing her the water bottle she's been drinking from. Their fingers brush and she shoots him a smile. "You wanna join me for lunch today? I noticed that you were sitting alone most days…"
"You were too," His white side says quietly, daring to steal a glance at the panda girl, as he fondly thought of her. "We'd really like to sit with you, though. But it's not like you have to do that or anything," His black side is quick to add, not wanting to be caught sounding to mushy. She closes her chocolate eyes and tilts her head back, laughing.
"No, I asked you because I wanted to. Just eating lunch as colleges, not a pity case," She tilts her chin back up so that it's close to her chest again, the smile still firmly planted on her lips. Zetsu's heart starts beating faster. He can't remember the last time someone actually SMILED at HIM. He's a freak for God's sake. Half black, half white. Split right down the middle. TenTen didn't look twice when she first saw him. She just shook his hand and asked him to pass her the bulbs.
"O-Okay. Psh, not like this is a big deal or anything. Zetsu, shush! F*ck off whitey!" She tilts her head back and laughs beautifully again. Quietly, in the cockles of his heart, White Zetsu and Black Zetsu both agree that one day TenTen (aka Panda Girl) would be his.
