Hi guys this is a short 1 - shot with the theme of soulmarks, I hope you enjoy this story
Oliver walked into the IT department, after hours about a laptop that he had spilled coffee over. He knocked the door loudly to wake the young IT tech slumped over her desk, snoring softly.
"FELICITY SMOKE MIT…" Felicity paused for a moment and before she could stop herself the words had already left her mouth "I thought hotness of this magnitude only existed in dreams" She said adjusting her glasses. Oliver felt the first smile in years tug insistently at his lips, before the cold wash of shock over ran him. Before he could stop himself his reply had already reached her ears.
"I never thought that sentence could be said so adorably, can I buy you a coffee?" Felicity batted her eyes rapidly as she cocked her head to one side, then her brain caught up with her hearing, and her jaw dropped in amazement. Omg he said my words! Felicity thought. And I'm making a horrible first impression as a soulmate.
"Yea I could really use an injection of hotness right now... And by hotness i mean sweet, sweet goodness... And by sweet, sweet goodness I mean caffeine... And oh my god if I had had time to think about that sentence it wouldn't have sounded so dirty." Oliver smiled and hid the laptop behind his back ."I'm Oliver Queen by the way"
"I know who you are, your Mr Queen" Felicity said.
"No, Mr Queen was my father."
"Right, but he's dead... I mean he drowned... And you didn't, which means you can come down to the IT department and listen to me babble..." Felicity said begining to hitting a red pen off her desk "Which will end in 3... 2... 1" she said starring at the man in front of her. She wondered how she could be so lucky. She saw him smile at her, a smile that in her opinion could make or break the world.
"You know, this is going to be the begining of a beautiful story we will tell are kids one day." Oliver said offering her his hand…
