A/N: I noticed that there were no Mrs. Patty stories, so I decided to create one. I'm sorry if it's not very good. This is only my 2nd story.

Disclaimer: I do not own Gilmore Girls or any of the characters.

"Mrs. Patty! How did you become a dancer?" A young girl asked, during a cookie break.

"Well, I started dancing when I was about your age. By the time I was 15, I was performing almost everywhere. One day after one of my shows, a man approached me and said that he was a talent scout. He took me to California and organized auditions for me and got me in to one of the most prestigious dance academies in all of California. When I was 17, I was on Broadway, it was a dream come true…" Mrs. Patty stopped talking and looked into space.

"Well, why did you stop? If you loved it so much why didn't you just keep doing what you loved?"

"Well, I did. I was a dancer on Broadway for 5 years. But, sadly one day, they decided that I was too old to be a dancer. They said that they were concerned what people might think if they saw a 22 year old pretending to be young. So, instead I went to Cleveland."

"And…What happened?"

"That's a story for another day"

"But-"

"No 'buts'! Everyone back to you spot, cookie break over!"

After Class

"Mrs. Patty, will you tell me why you stopped dancing, now?" The same girl as before asked.

"Of course dear, sit down." When they were both sitting, Mrs. Patty thought for a second on how to begin. "Well, at one of my performances a young man came up to me holding a single rose…

*Flashback*

Patricia Launcin was talking happily with her friends, who were also in the show, when I very handsome young man came walking up to her. Her friends noticed this and walked away so that they could get acquainted.

"Why, hello there." The man said.

"Hello to you, too is that for me?" She said pointing to the single white rose in his hand.

"Well, what kind gentleman would I be if I walked up to a beautiful young lady without a flower for her?"

"An awful one, apparently"

"Here" He said and handed her the flower.

"Is there any particular reason that you had the flower?"

"Yes there is."

"Do tell."

"Well, I've been watching you for a couple of days and I've decided that we're going to go on a date."

"Oh, really?" He nodded "Well, when is this date?"

"Tomorrow night, be outside California Credit Union at 7pm.

*End Flashback*

"So, how did the date go?" The girl asked

"It was wonderful and we continued to date for 4 years."

"Well, what happened?"

"He proposed to me and I accepted. We got married 5 months later. I really loved him. But, 3 years later, his father died. He told me that his father always hated me, and in his will, he asked him to divorce me. So, he did." She suddenly looked very melancholy.

"Oh my gosh! Mrs. Patty that's awful! I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay sweetie. I think he was the only husband that I really loved."

"I'm really sorry about that, but what does that have to do with you not dancing anymore?"

"Well, love is a very strange thing, honey. After he left I tried to keep dancing, but every time I would get on the stage I would remember how we first met and I would burst out into tears and collapse so, I quit. I've always wished that I could've kept dancing ad that one day he would find me, but I guess that some wished just don't come true."

"What was his name?"

"Jonathon"
