In the mystical land of Perim, there existed five creatures. The Overworlder, noble and courageous. The Underworlder, fierce and powerful. The Mipedian, stealthy and wise. The Danian, determined and swift. And the M'arillian, innovative and crafty.
Because Perim is large, everyone has a place to live. The Overworlder lived in the countryside, making peace with the wildlife. The Underworlder lived in the caverns, building new tools. The Mipedian lived in the desert, hiding all sorts of secrets. The Danian lived in a hole, keeping the place in order. The M'arillian lived in the ocean, sleeping in content.
While these creatures live their lives, the Mugician watches over them. The Overworlder prays to the Mugician for the plants to stay healthy. The Underworlder prays to the Mugician for the strength to overcome ordeals. The Mipedian prays to the Mugician for an oasis full of fresh water. The Danian prays the Mugician for an everlasting lineage. The M'arillian prays to the Mugician for the wisdom to create new things.
And so the Mugician gave them all their own gifts. The Overworlder was granted the power of elements, in order to understand the world. The Underworlder was granted the power of terror, to ward off lurking shadows seeking prey. The Mipedian was granted the power of summoning, insuring history will never be forgotten. The Danian was granted the power of unity, to encourage teamwork amongst one another. The M'arillian was granted the power of mind control, to pass wisdom to the ignorant.
Aware of this ability's use, the M'arillian left the ocean to test this new power with the other creatures. The Overworlder was encountered and turned into a minion. The Underworlder was encountered and turned into a minion. The Mipedian was encountered and turned into a minion. The Danian was encountered and turned into a minion. It was soon after the M'arillian became corrupt from controlling others.
However, despite the limitless joy it brought the M'arillian felt unsatisfied. What the M'arillian wanted was a minion that could things the M'arrilian was incapable of doing, one that was immortal and invincible and didn't require extensive care. And that craving was the Mugician.
"Come out and reveal yourself, Mugician!" demanded the M'arillian. The demand was granted, and the Mugician appeared before the aquatic creature. "Now obey me! Obey!"
But the Mugician did not get brainwashed, all it gave was an angry glare. The Mugician shouts, "foolish M'arillian, you cannot control the mind of one who is already deceased!"
"Curse you, Mugician! I will make you do what I say, it is your duty!"
"Indeed, it is my duty to lend my power to those who need me. But you do not need me, your minions do!"
Before the M'arillian could make a reply, the Mugician had possessed a Mugic. With the sound of seven beats and an unleashed beam of light, the M'arillian fell losing control on all the other creatures.
"You are too proud of yourself, M'arillian" the Mugician boomed throughout the land. "Perim shall never have peace as long you are around. Never again will I answer your prayers, you can go ask your beloved water for granting wishes."
And so the M'arillian was imprisoned in the worst place of the Underworld, forever to swim in polluted waters for all eternity. The Otherworlder, the Underworlder, the Mipedian, and the Danian lived together in peace ever after.
