Marie Susie was her name, a very unusual one as well. As she carefully ran though the wall it get onto platform 9 ¾ she hid someone on the other side. It was her first year at Hogwarts School of witch craft and wizardry, and she didn't know what to think of it until she saw it. A kind man took her belongings and she stepped onto the train. Marie found an empty carriage where she could sit and think about was she had ahead of her. Her thoughts where away, daydreaming, she didn't even notice when I shy young girl stepped into the carriage and sat opposite her. Marie looked round from her daze and looked the girl up and down in shook.
"No need to be shy?" she said in disgust
The little girl looked like she was about to cry at Marie's harsh words
"Im a first year" she shyly mumbled
The girl was very small for her age and had no hand luggage with her. She sat on her seat quiety for a while now and had no words to say
"Where have you come from then?" Marie asked boldly
"London, my parents have sent my here to learn their ways" she mumbled once more
"So you're a full blood." Marie sighed
"I beg your pardon? I don't understand?" the girl questioned
"Both your parents are magic, you're not mugle born like me" Marie said ashamed of herself
"You've never learnt magic before?" the little girl perked up at the thought of this
"No, one of my friends has just left, and my parents thought I should come here" Marie was now mumbling
Silence came over the carriage for the rest of their journey. Until the train came to a holt. Marie quickly left the train to leave the little girl behind. Time past, and soon all the first years were at the front of the main hall ready to be sorted. Girls and boys where being sorted everywhere, house tables where filling up. Soon the stange little girl was sitting on the chair below the sorting hat
"Hmm a great mind, but very shy, yes very shy indeed, but where to put you?" the sorting hat whispered
GRYFFINDOR" it shouted
The girl bounded off happily and the whole of Grifindor cheered, it was Marie's turn now, she walked up and sat under the hat, it made its mind up quickly
GRYFFINDOR" it shouted once more
Marie sat next to the girl again, but didn't want to know her. She had been reading so much about magic and was sure she would do well.
"Hi again" the girl joyfully said
"Hi" Marie shyly mumbled
"What's your name, im sure we will be great friends" She said happily
Not being one to disappoint Marie decide to speck to girl after all
*Marie Susie" she said proudly
"Hi Marie Susie, my names Lily Potter" the girl said.
