1, Introduction.

Kakashi glanced at the small young girl in front of him. She was shivering at a bench crying quietly, keeping her hair over her face as if to hide herself. She had her small pale hands wrapped around herself fin a fetal position, trying to get warmth or get a hold of something. Kakashi wasn't sure which it was.

You know that body language. You should know it better than anyone.

Kakashi sighed and sat next to the younger pink haired girl. She looked no older than 8. Strange to compare himself to her considering he had already been killing adults at her age. He held an umbrella over her head carefully, to stop the rain from falling on her. She jumped; she obviously didn't know he was there.

"What are you doing crying in the rain all alone?" He figured he should just get straight to the point. It always worked well for him as a child. And it was the best this petite girl was getting.

She paused, and now looked up at him, hair moving out of her eyes. Her eyes seemed slightly puffy and red, but they were a beautiful sparkling green as far as he could see.

"Some of my friends left me here.." her voice was very quiet. She sounded rough, her had voice cracked several times. She seemed confused that he was even talking to her. A loner. Huh.

"They don't sound like friends to me to leave you here crying alone in the rain."

"They're confusing friends."

"Or, maybe not friends at all."

She stared at him. Eye's focused intently on him. She stopped crying and him holding the umbrella over her was letting her to start drying slowly. She looked a bit better.

"Well then who am I supposed to play with if they're not my friends?" She asked, her voice now stronger, no longer hiccupping between words.

" Hmm..Maybe find someone who you can trust rather than picking up just anyone you see." She seemed confused and to be thinking.

"Maybe your right…maybe I can talk to that Ino girl. She seemed nice."

Kakashi smiled at her grinning face. He thought it was much better than seeing her cry. "Well, then go talk to her tomorrow then. "

"I think I will. Thank you, mister." She said, as she jumped off the bench. Kakashi handed her the umbrella.

"Keep that. It'll keep you dry, and I think your parents would like you coming home without a cold." She smiled at him, and happily took it and held it above her head.

"Thank you again. I promise I'll give it back to you someday! Oh, and my name Is Sakura Haruno by the way!" she shouted as she ran off with the umbrella high above her head.

Kakashi grinned under his now soaking wet mask. He was glad he got to meet Miss Haruno Sakura this night.
