Cuddy didn't open her eyes when the kiss ended. Her face relaxed and sensual, like she was in the middle of a wonderful dream, she breathed out slowly and smiled a little. "That was the best first kiss I've ever had," she said.
He studied her face that still seemed so close to him, but not as close as it was just a few seconds ago. "We kissed before," House reminded her, confused but not dismissive, as the look on her face was simply too delicate to be angry with her in any way.
"But all that matters is now."
