Just One Dance?
"And this is me at my first dance" Draculaura said pointing to the picture.
Shaggy had come over that night to see Christina. Draculaura had asked if he'd like to see some old pictures before adding there were some funny ones of Christina.
"That's cool but where's Christina?" Shaggy asked.
"She didn't come. She's never been to a dance"
"Why?"
"I just don't like to dance" Christina said.
"Ever?"
"Ever"
"Yeah she sits in a corner at parties"
Shaggy decided he'd have to change that.
...
Later that night he returned home.
"Hi Shaggy" Velma greeted.
Shaggy gave no respone.
"Shaggy?"
"Oh sorry Velma I was just thinking"
"About what?"
"Christina's never been to a dance before"
"You're up to something aren't you?"
"Yes"
..
Shaggy set to work on his plan the next day. His actions did not go unoticed by Christina.
"Laura do you think Shaggy's acting strange?"
"Nope" Draculaura answered hastliy.
"What's eating at you?"
"Nothing just have a lot of homework to do that's all"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes now I gotta go to the libray bye" Draculaura said rushing out of the room.
"Strange" Christina muttered going to her room.
Her friends had avoided her all day. Shaggy wasn't replieing to her texts and now this?
"Why is everyone avoiding me like the plague?" Christina muttered flopping on her bed.
She soon dozed off

Christina was startled awake by her phone.
Meet me in the school gym wear something nice- Larura.
Christina quickly put on the nicest dress she owned. A knee leth purple gress with a full skirt. She'd only waorn it once before for Draculaura's party. After braiding her hair and slipping on a sparkly pair of flats she drove to the school. The halls were dark and empty. Christina was puzzled. Why meet here? When Christina pushed open the gym door she was surprised. The gym and been cleaned up and looked like a prom from a sterotyipical teen movie.
In the center of it all was Shaggy waiting for her.
"Shaggy what's going on?"
"I'm taking you to prom"
"But-"
"No but's"
"Yeah we worked forever on this just for you" Frankie said.
"Really?"
"Yep"
"But why?"
"You've never been to a dance before I decided to change that" Shaggy said walking towards Christina.
"Shaggy-"
"Just one dance Christina?" he asked holding out his hand..
Christina gave in and one dance turned into two and before you knew it they danced the night away.

I wrote this partly for Valintine's and partly because I went to a dance Friday. Happy valintines day.
