AN: Taka was his first name, but how did Scar think of the name Scar? Also, please review, it is much appreciated!
Scar
"Ha ha! Look at the scar face!" A cub said to Taka, mocking the scar he had received from his father, Ahadi. Taka was now in tears, not knowing what to do against the group of cubs that were hurting him. Suddenly a voice boomed over the cub's voices, "Step away." The cubs spun around, seeing an older cub glaring down at them. Taka smirked, knowing help had arrived, and that he would be safe for another day. This was Mufasa, Taka's older brother, and future king.
"M-Mufasa, we weren't trying to cause trouble, we were just teasing! Honest!" The cub who was teasing Taka only moments ago said, fear in his eyes.
"It sure doesn't look that was, Taka looks hurt by your all's comments. What if your father did that to you? Can you even imagine? Then, to have your peers mock you for having just that one scar?" Mufasa said to the cub, never breaking eye contact. The cub was petrified. "Go home, run away and never return." Mufasa said to the cub, still glaring into his eyes. The cub wasted no time, he was out of there in a split second. "Worst comes to anyone who bothers my brother again. Now go." Mufasa said to the rest of the cubs.
I might be safe for more than a day now. Taka thought happily to himself as the other cubs ran. He then looked up at his brother, ran up to him, and hugged him. "Thank you so much Mufasa!" Taka said, tears running out of his eyes, a smile on his face.
"No problem Taka, if anyone gives you trouble, let me know." Mufasa said, embracing his brother. When they were done Mufasa said, "We need to find a way to fight fire with fire though." Mufasa said to Taka.
"You're right, but how?" Taka said to his brother. They both though for a moment. Suddenly, Taka had an idea. "I'll go by Scar! That way it's not an insult, they will just be calling me by my nickname!" He said enthusiastically.
"Alright then, Scar." Mufasa said smiling at his younger brother.
