Author Note: Happy Valentine's day! I hope that you have a wonderful Valentine's day! This storyline is going to be a one take.
Character Summary:
Kurt is planning a surprise for Jane for their first Valentine's day together.
Jane is excited to spend her first Valentine's day with Kurt.
Kurt could not wait for the Valentine's day to get here. He was planning to do something special for Jane since it was their first Valentine's day as boyfriend and girlfriend. He had everything ready for their Valentine's day date. He woke up early that morning to Jane cuddling up against him. He loved moments like this with her. They had been so busy with work. He felt his girlfriend move closer to him. He looked down to find her awake.
"Good morning." She said to him as she gave him a kiss.
"Good morning." He responded as he pulled away. "Are you ready for tonight?"
"Maybe we could start early this afternoon?" She asked him.
"I want to but if we have to work on a case, then we can't do it." Kurt said to her. The truth is that she did not know that they were going to have the day off. He had arranged for both of them to have the day. "We need to get ready for work."
He need to keep it up and got out of bed. Jane followed him out of bed and got ready for work. She knew that he was up to something but could not put her finger on it yet. They got in the car and headed to what she thought was work.
"Kurt, where are we going?" She asked as she noticed that he missed the turn to go to work.
"I thought that it was best to start our Valentine's day date early." He responded to her with a smile on his face.
"You had this planned, didn't you?" She asked him.
"I can't help but tell you the truth that I had this planned." He responded to her with a smile.
They enjoyed the first spot that Kurt took her to. She knew that he was up to by the 5th stop. He had bought her a nice dress to wear for the next stop. Kurt was starting to get nervous about this next stop.
"What's wrong?" She asked as she noticed a different behavior from him.
"Nothing." He responded as he parked in the parking lot. They got inside and Kurt knew that it was time to ask her after they ate their dinner.
"Jane, I love you. I can't wait to see what our future holds and I plan to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you please marry me?" He asked her with the ring.
"Yes, of course. I will marry you. I love you too." She responded to him as they started to celebrate their engagment.
Back at his apartement
"I can't believe that you did this." She said to him.
"Were you surprise?" He asked her with a smile.
"Oh yes." She responded to him.
The reason that Kurt had chosen to do this was because it had been about nine months. They had decided to get married in about three months when it would be their first anniversary of their romance.
