(Mitsuki's Sealing Fog)
When I was young, I had a love.
Whose name and beauty was of the moon above.
Mitsuki, your beauty pale and weak...
Mitsuki, your heart pure and meek...
You gave me a gift with your last breath.
I mourned you on the day of your death.
The stars above seem pale to me.
Kirito is what you gave to me.
Your home, your abode is 'Sealing Fog'.
To your chosen fate you quietly nod.
Oh, Mitsuki! I loved you too!
Oh Mitsuki if only you knew...
But you left me something of yourself.
Leaving me no regret about how I felt.
Note: This poem is inspired by the story of Azusa as a young man, and
his love for an older woman named Mitsuki. She tells him of a story
about why the moon seems to be covered by clouds/fog when it is full,
and calls it 'sealing fog'. Mitsuki choose to help him, but in order
for him to go far, she knew they could never be. She cut herself off
from her life support, (Her tree) and died. However, she asked him to
name her tree. He called it Kirito, which means sealing fog. This is
because of her story, and a play on her name, which means 'beautiful
moon'. Kirito speaks with Mitsuki's voice. Her key was her eye.
