Chapter One:Sign Up
"Sonic no!" Amy cried at Tail's workshop in the Mystic Woods, just as sonic was packing up the last of the his possesions he think he might need. "If half of the stories they tell about the Tediz are true, then you might be tortured to death just because they think it's funny."
"I'm not changing my mind Amy." Sonic told her. Yeah, he had heard the stories, every one of them. He heard of how the Tediz tortured some by slowly cutting the most sensitive areas of a squirrel's body, and he could only make an educated guess as to which particular sensitive area they started with. The Tediz were, and still are, a serious threat to Knothole. True, the war between them and the squirrels was taking place in Windy, but Sonic knew that they wouldn't stop once they took Windy, and since Windy was right at Knothole's doorstep, there was no doubt that his homeland was next.
"Well you can't go! You need to be eight-teen to join the Windy infantry, and your only fifteen."
"I'll join the Knothole infantry, their age rule dosen't apply to me, and since they're sending troops into Windy, to help them out, there's no doubt that I'll be on the front-line. Besides, if Tails can go to war, so can I."
"But Tails was drafted into military inteligence, miles away from the tediz, you're going into combat!"
"It's not like battle isn't an everyday thing for me."
"But what about Eggman!" Amy said, desperate for exscuses.
"You and the others staying behind are more than capable of handling him." Then he and Amy both heard the honk of Rouge's new Ford Mustang. Sonic looked out the window to see Rouge in the car with Knuckles, Shadow and Espio. Sonic then picked up his things and before going out the door, kissed Amy deeply. Closed the door and didn't look back. Sonic was going to war.

Wow. That was shorter than I thought it would be. Also I thought that I didn't really stay true to character with Sonic. But since he is going to war, I thought that I would have him act serious. So please review, good or bad, and KEEP ON ROCKIN AND REVIEWING, CAUSE I'LL HANDLE THE ROLLING!
