I didn't mean for it to happen. It just kinda did. Our eyes met and we couldn't look away. I knew it was dangerous. I knew it was wrong. But I didn't care. And neither did she.

"People are stupid!" Yuri shouted at the top of her lungs, throwing a small dagger across the empty football field. It sank into the half-frozen ground with a dull thump. Angrily, she whipped around, throwing another dagger in the opposite direction. This one bounced off the metal bleachers, clanging noisily. Growling to herself, Yuri stalked over to where she had heard the knife land and yanked it out of the ground viciously. She then went to the other dagger and tugged on it. It stuck a bit before Yuri yanked on it, pulling it out of the ground. Even though spring had just started, Yuri glared at the ground angrily. Stupid frozen ground thaw already. She thought, glaring harder at the ground. The snow had just melted a few days ago and the weather wasn't warm enough to make the ground completely thawed, but Yuri didn't care. Tucking the knives back into her belt, Yuri felt a cool wind stirring the grass and stopped walking, sighing angrily. It wasn't Fujimaki's fault, he didn't mean to push Yuri out the window. But after everything that had happened that week, Yuri didn't care. She was done with everything and everyone. That's why she had escaped to the field, her quiet place. Not even Yuzuru would follow her here. Groaning in despair, Yuri sat down in the middle of the grass. "Why is everything going wrong today?" she screamed at the sky, pummeling the ground with her fists. Panting with effort, Yuri lay back, glaring at the sky. She laid there for a while, thinking and glaring for a few minutes before she realized she was being watched. Startled, she sat up and scanned the area. Sitting on the bleachers, her white hair shining in the sun, sat Kanade. That little bitch has been spying on me! Yuri thought angrily, glaring harder at Kanade. Kanade glanced at Yuri, stood up, smirked, and walked off the bleachers, slowly advancing towards Yuri. Yuri scrambled to her feet and pulled out her pistol, taking aim. "One step closer and this bullet is going through your head." Yuri snarled, finger trembling on the trigger. The gun was cocked and ready, as it always was, and Yuri could feel her finger squeezing the trigger tighter. Red-hot fury coursed through Yuri's veins and she could feel the recoil of the gun as she took the shot. Miraculously, Kanade dodged the shot, and threw Yuri to the ground. Even though Yuri knew that Kanade didn't speak much, she spat in Kanade's face and writhed under her hold.
"Let go of me, you bitch!" Yuri shrieked, struggling harder.
"Sit still." Kanade grunted with the effort of holding Yuri down. "I don't want to hurt you." By this point, Kanade was straddling Yuri and the pair were staring straight into each others eyes. Yuri felt a pang of longing go through her body. It caught her off guard and she stopped fighting, taking Kanade by surprise. Without the force of Yuri's struggling, Kanade's hold slipped and she toppled onto Yuri, panting with effort. The two stared at each other for a few seconds. Yuri was suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to kiss Kanade. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew it was wrong but the desire to taste Kanade's temptingly pink lips overrode that warning. Kanade's yellow-gold eyes smoldered with the same desire and she leaned in closer to Yuri, their lips inches away from each other. With a small moan, Yuri thrust her head up, meeting Kanade's lips with a ferocity that rivaled Yuri's hate for the pale student council president. With a gasp, Kanade pulled away, her golden eyes sparkling. Overcome with anger and unease, Yuri resumed her struggling, fighting even harder to get away from Kanade. Still dizzy from the kiss, Kanade let Yuri push her off and escape, tears streaming down her face. As evening fell, Kanade continued to kneel on the football field, staring at the spot where Yuri had been laying, touching her lips softly. Meanwhile, Yuri sat alone in a corner and attempted to figure out what had happened. Confused and angered, Yuri took out one of her knives and pressed the tip of it to her skin. Closing her eyes, she felt the blade bite her skin. The pain lasted for a few seconds before the clarity came. What had happened on the field was nothing but a spell, cast by Kanade to confuse Yuri and to trick her into thinking that Kanade was good. With her mind clear, Yuri wiped the blood of her knife and put it back in her belt. Carefully, she cleaned the blood off of her arm and rolled her sleeve down, grateful for once that the school uniforms had long sleeves. Yuri stood up, feeling a bit woozy from the minor blood loss. Taking a deep breath, Yuri steadied herself before turning away from the field and walking away without a backward glance. That would be the last time Yuri would let Kanade get to her like that. But, somewhere, in the back of Yuri's mind, a small whisper began to grow and take hold. This would not be the first time, and it would not be the last, that Yuri and Kanade would meet under those circumstances. And next time they did meet, things were going to be worse. Much worse.

That night, Yuri dreamed. But it was more of a nightmare than a dream. She was reliving the murder of her brothers and sisters. It was like always, watching them all fall one by one, blood pooling around their bodies followed by maniacal laughter. Then, the dream changed. Yuri was now watching it all happen from a different angle, an outside angle. She saw herself, screaming and crying in a corner as her family was murdered. She saw her little brother, lying inches from her, eyes blank and staring. Suddenly, there was a flash of blinding light and she saw Kanade, standing protectively in front of Yuri, arms spread wide, face aglow with fury. Her lips moved, but Yuri didn't hear the words she said. The killer laughed and aimed at Kanade. Yuri felt her stomach drop and tried to rush forward to protect Kanade, but found her feet were stuck in place, rendering her immobile. Screaming, Yuri struggled in vain to save Kanade, straining with all her might against the invisible hold on her feet. She screamed once more before the dream went black and Yuri was snapped back into conscious by someone shaking her gently.
"Yuri. Yuri, wake up. Yuri, it's just a dream. You're ok, you're safe. It's ok." Groggily, Yuri opened her eyes to see Hinata sitting next to her, his silvery lavender eyes filled with concern. Gasping for breath, Yuri allowed herself to be pulled into Hinata's warm embrace, sobbing on his shoulder. "Shhh. It's ok Yuri, I promise it is. It was just a dream, it was just a dream." Hinata soothed Yuri, stroking her hair gently. "I promise it's ok." Gently, he pulled her back, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "It's alright. You're safe. Don't cry." Yuri sucked in a deep breath, breathing in the familiar scent of Hinata and her room. Hinata ran his hands down her arms gently, chasing away the remains of her nightmare. His fingers ran over the cut on her arm, and he stopped. Yuri blushed and looked down, but Hinata pulled her head up and stared at her. Unable to provide Hinata with an explanation, Yuri leaned in, touching Hinata's forehead with her own. They stayed like that for a few minutes, Yuri trying to think of something to say to explain the newly formed scar on her wrist, but nothing came to mind. Finally, Hinata pulled away and looked at her understandingly before kissing her forehead. "It's alright Yuri. Go back to sleep." Sighing, Yuri laid back down.
"Hinata..." she began as he stood up. Hinata looked down at Yuri, smiling gently.
"Yes?"
"Will...will you stay with me until I fall asleep? I don't want to...to be alone."
Smiling more broadly now, Hinata sat back down on Yuri's bed. "You're never alone Yuri." he murmured, leaning down and kissing her forehead again. "You never will be again." Feeling safer now that Hinata was by her side, Yuri quickly fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

The next morning, Yuri woke to the sound of discordant arguing coming from the room next to hers. Yuri stretched, hearing her back pop with satisfaction. Then, groaning with sleepiness, she padded out of her room and into the hallway, where the sounds of yelling grew louder. Sighing, Yuri walked over to the door and flung it open. Not surprisingly, she found Yuzuru and Fujimaki in each other's faces, screaming.
"You hotheaded son of a bitch! Because you can't control your damn temper, Yuri's gone, probably taken by Angel!" Yuzuru yelled, taking a swing at Fujimaki, who jumped out of the way just in time.
"Oh yeah? If you're so worried then go after her yourself you dumbass crybaby! Or are you too afraid of the big bad Angel?" Fujimaki spat back, pulling his katana out of the scabbard. Yuzuru snarled and jumped forward, landing squarely on Fujimaki's torso, pinning him down to the floor. They rolled on the floor, wrestling and yelling insults. Sighing again, Yuri walked over to the two wrestlers and pulled Yuzuru off of Fujimaki.
"You are both retards!" she shouted. "Now will you two shut up and stop disturbing everyone else's sleep?" Startled by her seemingly sudden appearance both boys stopped moving and stared at her in disbelief.
"Yuri." Fujimaki said, stepping back out of her arm's reach.
"You're ok." Yuzuru said happily, embracing Yuri. Yuri wriggled away from Yuzuru, blushing slightly.
"Of course I'm ok you idiot." she snapped, trying to hide her blush. Fujimaki put his katana away, clearing his throat.
"I knew you'd be alright. Of course I did." he said gruffly, not meeting Yuzuru's furious gaze.
"Oh that is bullshit Fujimaki! You were the one who was freaking out originally!" Yuzuru shouted, his eyes blazing. Yuri sighed and shook her head. There was no reasoning with those two ever. The two boys began shouting insults at each other again, so Yuri gave up trying to reason with them. Instead, she pulled out her gun a fired a shot into the ceiling. Fujimaki and Yuzuru both jumped at the sound and stopped arguing.
"That is enough!" Yuri commanded, lowering the gun to eye level. "Now if you two don't shut up, I'm putting three bullets through each of your thick skulls, got it?" Suddenly, Yuri dropped the gun as though it was made of lead. "Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to go try and recover the last five minutes of sleep that has been interrupted. If I hear either of you fighting with each other, you will both have three slugs in your brain, understand?" Yuri walked out of the room and back into her room, flopping down on her bed tiredly. It was hard to be the leader of a band of misfits who couldn't even get along for one night without her there to babysit. Frustrated again by everything that seemed to be going wrong, Yuri punched her bed angrily with her fists. Hinata appeared suddenly, leaning against the door frame, smiling in amusement at his friend.
"Well, I see your mood from last night decided to stick around." he said dryly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. Yuri leaned on her elbows, trying and failing to glare at her closest friend. Hinata came to sit next to her. "Awh come on Yuri. Lighten up a bit. I know those two can be blockheads some times, but they care about you. That's why they were both so upset." He put a gentle hand on her arm. "Try to cut them some slack, ok?" Yuri sighed heavily then nodded.
"Alright. I know you're right but gah! They just are so annoying and infuriating most of the time." Yuri made a frustrated gesture with her hands, to which Hinata laughed softly.
"I know. But like I said, they care about you and I think that they both want to prove that to you."
"But why do they have to be at each other's throats to prove it?" Yuri complained, leaning back and staring sulkily at her ceiling. Hinata laughed again.
"Because they both want to be the man and you know better than I do that two testosterone filled guys in the same room is the biggest recipe for disaster."
"Then remind me why I keep them in the same room?" Yuri groaned, rubbing her forehead.
"Because it provides us with entertainment and let's face it, without them life would be so boring." Hinata replied, standing up. "Look, I think we should call a meeting and talk." Yuri sat up, looking at her friend's back.
"Oh? What about?"
"I have some new intelligence on Angel. And it's too important to wait much longer."

A few minutes later, everyone was gathered in the conference room. Hinata and Yuri stood by a projector screen, waiting for silence. When it was finally quiet, Hinata cleared his throat and turned on the projector.
"While you guys were sleeping, I was up researching." Hinata started, clicking through a few pages of incomprehensible internet gibberish. "And I found something interesting. Angel is not totally invincible as we previously thought."
"Well no shit Hinata. Everyone has a weakness." Fujimaki spat, glaring at everyone.
"Yes, but this weakness is different. Because it's such a large weakness that it's hard to believe that we didn't see it before."
"Well, what is it?" Yuzuru asked impatiently, leaning forward in his seat. With a dramatic flourish, Hinata opened a page with a close up of Yuri's face.
"Angel's weakness is Yuri."
There was a second of silence before all hell broke loose. While everyone was shouting over each other, Yuri stood still. She was Angel's weakness? That would mean that last night's kiss wasn't just a fluke. Yuri's head spun with confusion and fear. If she was Angel's weakness, did that mean Angel was her weakness? Suddenly, Yuri needed fresh air. The conference room was beginning to shrink, Yuri's head was spinning, blackness crowded her vision. Have to get outside, have to find Angel. Yuri thought, stumbling towards the door. Vaguely, she heard Hinata call after her but she didn't care. Finally Yuri reached her field where she wandered around the edge, following the white perimeter line. The pacing calmed her down a bit, but the news that she was Angel's weakness still bounced around in her brain. How could she be Angel's weakness? Sure the two of them hated each other, but that's as deep as the feelings went. What about the kiss last night? Whispered her mind, making Yuri stop short. She had tried to force the kiss, and those feelings, out of her brain but now she couldn't stop herself from thinking about it. The way Kanade's lips felt against hers, the softness of them, Kanade's deep beautiful gold eyes staring into hers. The feelings became stronger and stronger until Yuri was all but swallowed by desire and hunger. Without really thinking about it, Yuri took off across the field, cut through the quad and bolted towards Angel's favorite lookout spot, a tall, spiraling tower that overlooked most of the school. Upon reaching the top though, Yuri realized that Angel wasn't there. Instead, Yuri found herself staring at a breathtaking view of the grounds. From here, she could see to the very edge of the school and everywhere in between.
"It's something isn't it?" a voice asked from behind Yuri. Jumping, Yuri whirled around and was face to face with Kanade.
"It is beautiful." Yuri admitted, turning her head to look at the view again.
"Yes, it is but I can think of one thing more beautiful than this." Kanade said, taking a step closer. Yuri could feel Kanade's breath on her neck. It washed over Yuri and she turned her head back to Kanade.
"Oh? What's that?"
Kanade moved forward until there was only a centimeter between the girls. "You." She then closed the gap and kissed Yuri passionately. Yuri melted into the kiss and into Kanade's arms. The two of them fell to the floor, Kanade on top of Yuri, straddling her again. Emotions running high, Yuri entangled her fingers in Kanade's hair, pulling her closer. Their lips moved against each other, heatedly and fervently. Yuri found herself wanting Kanade's hands on her body, wanting to feel those small yet powerful hands touching her everywhere. They broke apart for a few seconds, smoldering gold eyes meeting sparkling green eyes. A flurry of emotions fluttered through Yuri's stomach, hate, lust, longing, love all battling for supremacy. Finally, lust won out and Yuri pulled Kanade back to her and the kissing resumed, this time more urgently. Frantically, Yuri struggled to get out of her uniform shirt and skirt, until she lay on the rooftop in nothing but her bra and panties, panting under Kanade, who smiled and unbuttoned her shirt, slowly pulling it off. Tentatively, Yuri reached up and cupped one of Kanade's breasts in her hand. It was soft and Kanade smiled wider, covering Yuri's hand with her own, squeezing gently. A thrill went through Yuri as Kanade's lips went from a smile to an open mouthed moan, and feeling bold Yuri took Kanade's other hand and placed it on her chest. Kanade's eyes widened for a split second. Yuri bit her lip, suddenly worried she had been too bold, but Kanade's eyes softened and she leaned down to whisper into Yuri's ear. "Are you sure?" Kanade's cool breath washed over Yuri's neck, making her shiver in delight. Unable to speak, Yuri just nodded. She was sure, this is what she wanted. She wanted Kanade to touch her, wanted to feel those soft, sure hands on her body. Kanade smiled and moved down from Yuri's neck to her chest and undid her bra. Her mouth worked on one breast while her hand massaged the other. There was a sharp, delicious pain as Kanade lightly bit Yuri's hard nipple, causing Yuri to gasp. Instantly, Kanade pulled back looking at Yuri's face in concern. "Did that hurt?" she asked worriedly, cupping Yuri's face gently with her free hand.
"No…no it didn't. Please…do it again?" Yuri responded, tugging Kanade's head back down. Kanade chuckled softly before bringing her mouth back down on Yuri's breast. Suddenly, Yuri felt something touch her lower down and she gasped again. This time, Kanade didn't stop and her mouth worked harder, sucking on Yuri's tender breasts. Soft fingers gently probed the outside of Yuri's sensitive private part. A dash of fear went through Yuri and she pulled Kanade's head up. "Wait…" she said breathlessly. Instantly, the fingers withdrew and Kanade put her hand on Yuri's cheek reassuringly.
"It's ok. We can go as fast or slow as you want. Yuri, I want you to be comfortable."
"I…I am comfortable Kanade, but I've never done anything like this…I'm kinda scared."
"Call me Angel. And it's alright just tell me what you want. Don't be afraid to speak up, ok Yuri?" Angel stroked Yuri's hair soothingly. "What do you want me to do?"
"I…I want you to touch me down there again. Just be gentle, please?" Yuri's face flushed and Kanade kissed her on the lips then on the cheek.
"Ok Yuri. I'm going to start again. Tell me if you want me to stop, alright?" Yuri nodded, biting her lip. Angel slid down Yuri's body more and pulled down her panties. "Ready?"
"Yes." Yuri whispered, her stomach fluttering in excitement. Angel started out slow, rubbing the outside before slipping one finger in Yuri's tight pussy, letting her get used to the feeling before moving it around, searching for the tender spot. She found it when she twisted her finger and Yuri's body shot up, her green eyes wide with shock and wonder. Smiling, Angel added another finger, keeping pressure on that one spot. Yuri's breathing sped up and her tender mouth was parted slightly. Angel started moving her fingers in and out of Yuri's now soaked vagina, making sure to go as deep as she could and hitting Yuri's g-spot. Yuri started moaning, softly at first then louder as Angel's fingers moved faster and faster. Using her other hand, Angel started touching herself too, losing herself in the sound of Yuri's moans. Angel put another finger in Yuri's pussy, feeling it suck her fingers in and pulsate with each slam. Yuri's body was undulating now, moving in time with Angel's fingers. The intensity became too much and Angel leaned forward, unable to resist tasting Yuri's sweet juices. Adding her tongue to her fingers drove Yuri more insane and she moaned louder, pushing her body forward, allowing Angel to thrust her tongue deep into Yuri. Angel's fingers moved faster and faster, both in Yuri's sweet spot and in her own, causing Angel to moan along with Yuri. The girls' moans mixed together, swirling up into the air in heavy white clouds of steam. Angel could feel her body tingling and hoped Yuri was feeling the same way. This was euphoria for Angel, and she wondered what Yuri was feeling.
"Oh…Angel…don't stop." Yuri moaned, pushing Angel's head even closer. Smiling, Angel began fingering Yuri faster and harder, slamming her fingers up to the knuckle and into Yuri's sweet spot. Yuri's moans turned to screams of pleasure, sending Angel into a frenzy of emotion. Angel moved faster and faster, feeling Yuri's sweet, tight pussy contract tighter and tighter before exploding. Angel and Yuri climaxed together, their last moans intertwining. Yuri's body stopped moving and she lay still, panting heavily. Angel slithered up so she could kiss Yuri before flopping next to her, panting as well.
"That was…" Yuri trailed off, unable to think of a word strong enough to describe her feelings.
"Yeah, it was." Angel said, knowing what Yuri was trying to say. The mix of feelings that were swirling through her body were amazing and indescribable. They laid there for a while longer, reveling in the after effects of their orgasms. After a few more minutes Angel rolled on to her side and peered at Yuri, who had fallen asleep. Smiling to herself, Angel pulled on her shirt and put Yuri's clothes back on before picking her up and carrying her back to Yuri's dorm. Once she reached the dorm though, Angel hesitated. How could she get Yuri into her room without everyone knowing? Suddenly Hinata appeared, opening the door and peering at Angel curiously. She looked back at him challengingly, daring him to say something. He didn't, just reached his arms out for Yuri. Apprehensively, Angel curled Yuri closer to her, glaring warily at Hinata's open face.
"I won't tell anyone if you don't." He said quietly, not taking his eyes off Angel's face. She looked harder at him before nodding her head curtly and handing him Yuri.
"If you tell anyone I was here I swear..." Angel seethed. Hinata nodded gravely.
"I won't I swear." He retreated into the dark entryway, softly closing the door. Angel swayed on her feet, staring blankly at the closed door. After a few more minutes she shook her head and turned her back to the dorms. Angel took a deep breath and forced her legs to move, taking her farther and farther away from her dear Yuri.

Yuri stirred in Hinata's arms, causing him to shush her softly. She groaned softly and her head thrashed a bit before she settled down again. Hinata let out the breath he didn't know he was holding and opened the door to Yuri's room. Careful not to disturb her slumber, Hinata laid Yuri down on her unmade bed and tucked her in.
"Sweet dreams Yuri." Hinata whispered, gently placing his lips against her forehead. Walking to the door, Hinata turned back to look at Yuri once more before leaving. He closed the door as softly as he could and tiptoed to his own room. Instead of going back to sleep though, Hinata sat by his window and looked down at the quad. A white flash caught his eye. Turning his head, Hinata saw Angel running towards her side of the quad. She turned her head towards the dorms and Hinata saw the desire and concern warring on her face. Chewing on his lip thoughtfully, Hinata stared off into the distance wondering what had happened and why Yuri had let herself fall asleep near the enemy. As his mind came up with explanations, Hinata let his eyes wander around the campus, looking for the flash of white hair. It seemed as though Angel was worried about Yuri, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Maybe she was worried that Yuri had found something out about Angel and was going to reveal it to the group. That had to be it. Otherwise, Hinata was at a loss. Because Yuri, strong, wise, clear headed Yuri, would never be as stupid as to let her guard down in front of her enemy.

When Yuri woke up the next morning, her stomach felt weird and tingly, as did her legs. Groggily, she sifted through the events of the previous night. Flashes came to her, sending jolts of electricity up her spine. Golden eyes staring into hers, fiery and consuming. Soft, nimble hands doing things to Yuri's body she hadn't ever dreamed of. Passionate kisses, igniting a fire that warmed her insides and made her giddy with happiness. And the amazing climax that had brought her night to an end.
Yuri had willingly let Angel take control. She, Yuri Nakamura, the fearless and brave leader of the Afterlife War Front, had given up control and let her worst enemy turn into her best lover.
And she loved every minute of it.
A soft knock at her door started Yuri out of her dreamy state, bringing the harshness of reality crashing back into her life. Hinata's voice sounded, soft and hesitant.
"Yuri? You awake?"
"Yeah. Come in." Yuri tried to keep the remnants of her fantasy world out of her voice. Hinata opened the door slowly, slipping in and quietly shutting the door behind him. "What's with all the secrecy Hinata?" Yuri asked, crossing her legs underneath her body.
"I-I need to talk to you. About last night." He raised his eyes to meet Yuri's and she felt her heartbeat double and her stomach sink to her feet. He knew. Oh God, he knew and he was going to tell everyone else. What would they think? Would they throw her out of the club?
"Hinata it wasn't..."
Hinata raised his hand to silence Yuri.
"Look. I don't want to know what really happened last night. In fact, I can guess what happened but that milk's been spilled. No use crying over it. Now all we have to worry about is keeping it from the others."
"How...how did you figure it out?"
'Well, I thought about it a lot last night. At first I thought maybe you had gone to talk to Angel, see if you could get her to cease fire using your new found ability to trigger her weakness but that wouldn't have explained why you fell asleep in front of her and let her even touch you. The idea was hard for me to wrap my head around at first, but after a few hours of chewing on the whole thing, it just fell into place. I don't want to nor do I need to know the details, but I do know that if this were to get out, the others wouldn't take to it very kindly. I've come to terms with it, so you don't need to worry about me turning against you. No matter what happens, you're my best friend and I promised to stick with you, whatever comes our way." Hinata sat down on the bed heavily, shaking his head. "It's still a little crazy to think that you being Angel's weakness has to involve you being involved with her, but that's the way things stand as of now." He shook his head. "And she was none to sneaky, bringing you back her without using any sort of shadowing technique. I spent all night messing with the security footage to make it look like she was never here, but even my editing abilities couldn't hide her being here fully. I couldn't edit out her leaving the campus grounds, no matter how hard I tried. So we have to come up with something, and fast, before everyone else gets wind of this. We'll have a full blown riot on our hands."
"And I thought the boys' fighting was the worst we could have." Yuri groaned, ridiculously giddy that Angel had brought her back but horribly worried for Angel's safety. "Alright, so what do we say? Do you have any ideas?"
"I've mulled over a few, but they all seem pretty outlandish and hard to pull off, even for us." Hinata pinched his nose and took a deep breath, scrunching his face up. "But I'm sure we'll figure something out."
Yuri sighed and flopped back against the pillows.
"I know what you said about still being my best friend and all, but you probably hate the idea of me being involved with our worst enemy." Yuri felt her eyes sting as tears piled up. "And honestly, I wouldn't blame you if you walked out of the room right now and told everyone the truth. Besides, I don't want to drag you into this mess." Angrily she wiped away a few stray tears that leaked out of the corner of her eye. She wouldn't cry, not in front of Hinata. Yuri had to be strong, for him. He'd always been strong for her, backing her up on every decision, taking her side even if she was wrong, being her second in command. She wanted to prove to him that she was that strong too, that she could back him up too no matter what the situation.
"Yuri." Hinata's voice was sharp and commanding. Yuri looked at him in surprise, his stormy gray eyes sparking angrily. "If I wanted to rat you out to the others, I would have done it already. Hell, I would have done it yesterday after she dropped you off. I wouldn't have bothered to try to cover Angel's tracks, and I wouldn't have bothered to come talk to you first. I meant what I said. You're my best friend. And I will stand behind you always. No exceptions." A small smile curled his lips up conspiratorially. "Besides, if you want to bat for the other team I'm all for it. As long as I get to watch, of course."
Yuri's mouth dropped open and Hinata began laughing hysterically. It was contagious and soon she was laughing with him. The two laughed till their sides hurt and when the laughing fit subsided, Hinata smiled at Yuri.
"But seriously. As long as you are happy, who am I to tell you who you can and can't love?"
Yuri beamed at Hinata and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, Hinata. This means the world to me."
"Yuri, you mean the world to me. And you deserve to happy." They stared into each others' eyes for a few seconds, before Hinata smiled and pulled away. "Alright. So now that that's over, time to be serious. What will we tell everyone else?"
"Well, what if we let them tell the story?" Yuri ventured, biting her lip thoughtfully.
"What do you mean?" Hinata raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on in Yuri's pretty little head.
"I mean, what if we give them an outline and let them fill in the blanks? You know, kind of like a mad lib, but less crazy and more realistic." Yuri jumped off the bed and began pacing, lips set in a firm line. "Of course, we'd have to make sure to remember what they said so if it ever comes up later we won't get caught, but you could record the whole thing and we could memorize it. And that way no one will question why Angel was here last night and why I came in so late. They'll have the story in their heads, making it so we don't look suspicious."
Hinata tapped his chin thoughtfully, still watching Yuri pace.
"It might just work. Actually, compared to all of the other solutions I came up with last night, this is the most sound."
"It might just work, Hinata. And if it does, we don't have to worry about the others finding out. And if Angel and I were to continue to see each other, we'd be more careful so as not to cause any more trouble. Hinata, this could actually work." Yuri's face lit up, making her moss green eyes glow with happiness. Hinata smiled, but felt a twinge of jealousy tug at his heart. Internally shaking himself, Hinata shoved that jealousy down, burying it deep. He meant what he said to her, about wanted her to be happy. And if her happiness rested with Angel, then so be it. Yuri was looking at him expectantly, waiting for him to say something, to agree with her or shoot her down. Taking a deep breath, Hinata gave Yuri the biggest smile he could without being overly fake and cheesy.
"It'll work Yuri." He said, putting as much conviction in his voice as he could. It had to work, otherwise Yuri's world would come crashing down and crush her. It just had to work.

A/N-
I missed writing this so much. I know I just uploaded a fanfic about Host Club, but I promise I haven't forgotten about my other two stories! Things have been super crazy lately with work and my mom's wedding coming up soon (I'm the maid of honor) and school, I just recently had the chance to sit down and start writing, but it was while I was really sick and entertaining myself with Host Club. Now that I'm better though and my work schedule isn't so crazy, I should be able to start writing more often. Maybe not every day, but at least every other day or so.
Let me know what you think of this latest section because while writing it, I had a playlist of mishmashed songs going and it was on shuffle so one moment I'd be listening to a happy, lovey song and the next I'd be listening to a breakup song. Not sure how, if at all, it affected my writing but hopefully you guys like it!
Love You, Always,
