"Yah!" Dark Grepher took a step back. He turned at his enemy, sword held high. He now had a scar the side of his face. Opposite him stood Sparkman and Bladedge, the city's protecters. He tried to rob a store, but then these two showed up. He swung his sword at Bladedge, but he deflected it just by holding up an arm. "Heh," Bladedge said with a laugh. He slashed at Dark Grepher again, knocking him to the ground. He stood up, but then Sparkman shot him to the ground. The tokens he stole fell to the ground. "We make a good team..." said Sparkman to his partner. Bladedge smiled, but thn they saw the Hero Signal. "Better move," said Bladedge. They fused into E-Hero Darkbright and flew into th sky with golden wings.

Avian shot feathers at his attackers. But they weren't even phased. They slashed at him with swords, and he fell to the ground, a mangled mess of feathers. Burstinatrix was on her own now. She used a massive fire attacks, and a few were wounded, but she was slashed by those still standing. Then Darkbright slashed through a window. "Calvary's here!" they defused, taking out several of the attackers in the process. "Thank goodness..." said Burstinatrix, launching more fireballs. "Ah, Bursty, always needin' our help," said Bladedge, slashing at one of them. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?" she said in an angry voice. Sparkman chuckled as he electrocuted 2 more."Well, that's all of them..." said Burtinatrix. Sparkman looked down at Avian and sighed. "Get the smelling salts, Bladedge...".

Sparkman and Avian were talking with each other. "There seems to be a high crime lately..." said Sparkman. "They've gotta be planning something big." "Who's 'they'?" said Avian. "I don't know! It could be anyone, even The Bewitching Phantom Thief." Avian smirked at the thought of the ametuer criminal. "He's more trouble than you think," said Sparkman, as if reading his mind. Avian smiled. "Off your game?" Sparkman gave him a cold stare, and Avian winced. "See you in the morning," said Sparkman, walking off toward his room. Avian sighed. He was the one off his game. The last time he got K.O.'ed was when he stared at Burstinatrix's fireballs too long. Burstinatrix... He though, as if the name was a pirate's gold. Something made his mind wander over the thought. What has gotten into me lately... he thought. Then the Hero Signal went off over at the bank. Avian smacked the alarm.
