She took his hand, leading him outside, and smiled, wrapping an arm around his waist. They pressed together, swaying softly to the sound of unheard music, her head resting gently on his shoulder. If not for the sounds of nature, it would have been completely silent, but their dance came naturally, the rhythm playing out in their heads. It was the one she had taught him all those years ago... She was an odd one, Luna, but there was no denying her beauty... her kindness... her bravery... it was all there. They had both been outcasts, he supposed, but that wasn't why he loved her, oh, no. He loved her because she was... her. She was so damn stubborn... no one could beat that out of her. She would talk about her time in the Malfoy Manor as though it was nothing, and moments later, be chasing the wrackspurts from the house. It didn't affect her, somehow... and Neville admired that.

Their dance sped up, soon filling with intricate twirls and graceful dips, long blonde hair flying around, shining in the moonlight. Their bodies moved in time with each other, as if one being, as the pace of their silent song quickened, and Neville had no time to think, only able to concentrate on keeping the beat. He had never quite gotten the hang of dancing... but with Luna, everything looked beautiful, it seemed. Neighbors were peeping out of their windows, staring in awe at the couple on the lawn, but they paid no mind. With someone like Luna, you learned to ignore the stares. Even the stars were watching, everything in the world seeming to stop all at once, just to see them dance. As the music died down, so did their dance, until they were as they had started, tangled in each other's arms, slowly swaying to the sound of the music that no one could hear.
