Keiko's Birthday Gift
Yusuke and Keiko are sitting on a bench after their date at the movies which Yusuke owes Keiko. Keiko turned away while Yusuke finished the rest of the soda he is drinking and he goes and throws it away. He sits back down and Keiko sighs.
"What's wrong, Keiko?" Yusuke asks in confusion looking at his girlfriend.
"Yusuke, I want to tell you something?" Keiko starts to say.
"Huh?"
"Tomorrow is my birthday?"
"Your birthday?"
"Yusuke, you didn't forget did you? Keiko says turning toward Yusuke.
"No, I didn't why would I" Yusuke says assuring.
"So if you didn't forget. I'm expecting a gift from you?" Keiko says with devious smile.
"What!" Yusuke says with his eye widen and his jaw agape.
Keiko gets up and leaves with Yusuke still on the bench still in shock. Keiko soon turns around and she looks at Yusuke with a smile on her face.
"And Yusuke it better be good." Keiko says as soon walks away.
Yusuke's jaw is drop is drop even lower than and he gulps hard nervously. Yusuke gets off the bench and soon starts to walk and he puts his hands in his pockets of his jeans. He growls in frustration and he sighs afterwards.
"Damnit, I have to get her a gift." He says in frustration.
He walks and soon comes to a jewelry store. He goes inside and looks around. He looks at everything from ruby to diamond. He goes and sees a ring that has a sapphire gem on it and the ring part was it was 14 karat gold.
He smiles and gets excited. "That's what I want to get her." He says excited but He goes to the ring and he looks at it then he notices the price of the ring and his jaw drops at the price. "I can't get this."
He walks around to see a bracelet and he smiles again and when he gets close to it. To his displeasure he the bracelet he wants is unable to him too. "A bracelet! I can't get her that."
He soon walks out of the jewelry store and goes to a clothing store but soon walks out and he growls in frustration. He thinks nervously on how Keiko will react if he doesn't have a gift. His face turn from frustration to nervousness. He gulps slightly. "I can't just give her nothing."
It was the next day. Keiko is walking toward Genkai's Temple after climbing the stairs. Botan came to her apartment and to come to Genkai's temple right away. Keiko walked into Genkai's Dojo and notices it is dark. She is nervous and scared that she walked into ambush but the light came on and everyone pops out from where they were hiding.
"Surprise! Happy Birthday, Keiko." Everyone yells excitedly except for Hiei who said it in his normal tone.
"Thank you, everyone!" Keiko says excitedly.
"Well, let's celebrate." Botan says excitedly.
Everyone celebrates Keiko's birthday. Everyone gave her gift. Botan gave a blue dress. Kuwabara and Yukina gave her ice blue rose flower. Kurama gave her some roses he grew his self. Keiko got her gift from everyone else except from Yusuke. Everyone soon left except for Yusuke and Keiko. Yusuke looks at Keiko nervously. Keiko smiles at him slyly.
"You got my present?" She asks him.
"Uh…about that…I tried to get you something…" Yusuke starts to say. Keiko put a finger up to his lips to hush him.
"Yusuke, do you know why I said that my gift better good yesterday?"
" No, why?"
"Yusuke, the gift I want is you."
Yusuke eyes widen and jaw dropped. "Me? I'm the gift?"
"I want you, you are the best gift I could ever have."
"Really?"
"Thank you, Yusuke."
"Welcome, Keiko."
Keiko soon goes to Yusuke's cheek and kisses him. Yusuke starts blushing as Keiko left. Yusuke looks down at Keiko and smiles at her.
"Wow, I love Keiko."
Keiko surprises Yusuke with another kiss. "I love you too, Yusuke."
Yusuke blushes and starts to say. "Keiko, I…" He stops and they soon start walking hand in hand.
