Whats it like when you suddenly come upon a strange being? Is he friendly, vile, outgoing, stubborn, or just plain silly?
A young boy -no, creature- sits casually, looking at nothing in particular.
He smiles blissfully, round cheeks frame his face, and blushes a slight tint of brown. His skin is a pale gray and his ears come to a small point.
Large bull like horns, that have candy corn coloring, jut from the sides of his skull. Yellow replaces the whites in his eyes and has gray irises and pupils.
His black hair is shaved down except for the long, soft mow hawk that slightly droops over his right eye. He pushes it more to the side and out of his view.
A light brown bandana is tied loosely around his neck, and a long sleeved green shirt does the exact opposite of clinging to skin.
He seems kind, and gentle, but a pair of robotic legs makes you want to think twice. Brown shorts cover his thighs where the metal separates skin.
They're smooth, and shine in the light. Rivets and small bolts cover every section of the mechanical contraption. Small gaps where joints bend are hallow and show the inside skeleton of metal.
The legs seem well built, and sturdy, the only unnatural thing about them is the color, lines, and the lack of defined toes.
The young creature smiles again, this time showing sharp, pointed teeth, canines elongated and menacing. Although they are unnerving, he still smiles happily, as if nothing is wrong.
His existence is unnatural and bizarre, yet seems so normal, and friendly.
You can't help but smile back at this strange creature.
He looks to be about your age, possibly even younger. Holding out his hand, he is careful not to clip you with pointed nails.
You hold it and shake it, introducing yourself.
He does the same, and you find that his voice is calm, and sweet.
The sent of strawberry's meets your nose and he tells you his name is Tavros. The name would strike you as an odd one, if everything else about him hadn't been odd enough.
I wrote this for my Composition class last semester. Can you guess who it is?
