When the sky is dark
/\= Author people notes =]
It was a bright afternoon, the setting sun changed the color of everything it loomed over. The shadows grew thick. In the sky a raven flew looking purple in the deepening light it landed on a tree next to a familiar looking skeleton. A strange heavy and strong breeze carried orange and red leaves all around the raven. When they cleared there was no raven but in its place was animal sans. The young skeleton who had the strange power to change into any animal he desired. The skeleton he had landed next to lifted his head revealing his face…its nature sans. "we've received another letter from them" nature said. "ANOTHER! We don't even know these people and they keep sending these blasted invites!" animal shouted. "Maybe it's urgent and they need our help." Nature replied softly. "let me see it" animal said back. He examined the note, rereading it many times over. "AHH I can't even read it right it's written in WingDings!" dundun duuuuuuun animal said clearly he was highly pissed off. "well we could go there and see what they want." Nature ended. "HMMM… Fine" animal concluded the conversation. Once again the unnatural swirl of leaves surrounded animal sans when they cleared he was in the form of a dragon, a species lost to time and space. "Well aren't you coming." Animal said in his new voice that sounded like fresh dry wood when it crackled in fire, his voice often sounds different when animal changes forms. Nature got onto animals back unsure how to ride a dragon. Nature looked up the sun was now hidden by clouds so dark they looked black. "Animal you shouldn't fly there's going to be a storm!" Nature shouted but he was too late animal had already spread his massive wingspan and took off, deaf by the roaring wind. Rain slowly started to patter on Natures skull. /surely reader you think animal realizes it's about to pour rain, land and find shelter this is what you would do dear reader right? No your right if he did stop the story wouldn't progress and continue on\ Before Nature could even respond a wicked crack of lighting descended from the sky and hit animal. Then as animal and nature were plummeting to their death the rain screeched in their drippy voice "When the sky is Dark no one will go, your time is running low,". Nature was still falling he thought he saw a figure in a black cloak, but closed his eyes knowing Death soon approached him. But even though the ground was but feet away he landed or more like something caught him. He opened his eyes only to see a cloud of deep blue magic. A voice coming from what seemed like nothing said "It's not your time.". Then nature was hit on the head with who knows what probably a bone and blacked out. Sun soon filtered through natures eye sockets his head felt heavy and it pained him. Nature sat up blood rushed out of his skull which sent into a small shock. He shook his head and peeked around Animal [or the remains of animal] were nowhere in sight! Nature scrambled to his feet and frantically searched the area. But he soon he realized he wasn't in the grassy plain as before, he was in a forest dappled with puddles. Nature stopped and began to think "why does this forest look so familiar" he thought deeply for few moments.
