It was 11 o'clock in the morning and Lea was very nervous at the hospital, waiting to be called by a nurse
"Ms. Lea Michele?" a nurse finally called out.
Lea still very nervous stood up and walked with the nurse to where the doctor's room was.
Before the doctor could say anything, Lea spoke out in a very nervous voice, "I'm late. I'm two weeks late. I took 2 tests and it said positive but I want to be 100% sure."
"Don't worry", Dr Monroe assured her. "I'll just put some of this gel on your belly and then we can tell if you are really pregnant on that moniter".
Lea could feel the cold gel being rubbed on her belly and nervously stared at the monitor.
"It seems that you are pregnant," Dr. Monroe told her pointing at the monitor. "You are a month pregnant".
As Lea walked out of the room, she kept asking herself questions "What is Cory says he isn't ready? What if I won't be a good mother?
At that moment, she could feel her phone vibrating in her hand as it was on silent mode. It was Cory calling her. She picked up her phone and tried to talk normally.
"Hey babe! What's up?" Lea asked Cory on the phone
"Hey Lee! Where are you?"
Lea quickly thought of a lie and said, "I'm out with Naya and Diana, shopping."
"Are you free for lunch time or have you made plans with the girls?"
"No, we haven't made any plans for lunch?"
"Cool! So can we have lunch together at Breadstix at 12:30?
"Sure thing babe!" Lea told Cory.
"Great! So I'll see you then. I love you."
"Bye! And make sure you know that I love you more."
"Haha! I don't think that's possible but I'll see you later. Bye."
"Bye," Lea said as she hung up the phone.
She got in her car and drove to Breadstix trying to get the questions she was asking herself out of her head.
