Yes, so. Another fairy tale type thing. I love fairy tales, so I write stuff like them. Things with princes, princesses, witches, and frogs. Towers and windows and long, golden hair. But the things I write aren't necessarily fairy tales. They either go bad, or they aren't really fairy tales at all. Anyways, I hope ChibiFrubaGirl likes this, because that's who it's for! Oh, and speaking of which. Message to ChibiFrubaGirl: I though of what you said, and yes, 'Fairy Tale Gone Bad' does seem a bit rushed. I'll be adding more detail to it for you, and I hope you'll read it again and tell me what you think!

Warnings: AU, shonen-ai, character death.

Full Summary: It's like a fairy tale, but it's not, not really. Demyx really isn't a prince, Riku isn't really a knight, Naminé really isn't a witch, and there isn't really a tower or a window. But someone really does die, and someone else really doesn't do anything about it…

Wasn't Really

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a handsome young prince that wasn't really a prince, named Demyx. He was in love with this knight in shining armor that wasn't really a knight, named Riku. But Riku didn't know that Demyx was in love with him, just that Demyx liked him.

One day, a witch that wasn't really a witch, named Naminé took Demyx and locked him away in a tower that wasn't really a tower. Demyx was distraught, and hoped his 'knight' would come save him. He waited for weeks, but his 'knight' never came.

What the 'prince' didn't know was that his 'knight' was off, gallivanting around with another prince that wasn't really named Axel. Axel claimed to be in love with the 'knight' but was really just using him. He kept Riku away from the 'tower' that Demyx was in, and Riku never thought twice about him.

The 'prince' sat by a window that wasn't really every day in that 'tower.' He refused to eat anything the 'witch' brought him, no matter how appetizing or appealing it was. He just sat, looking out that 'window' in that 'tower,' waiting for his 'knight' to come save him.

Unfortunately, his 'knight' never showed.

Eventually Riku caught word of Demyx's misfortune. Riku didn't do anything about it, deciding that, just because Demyx liked him didn't mean he needed to go save him. Demyx died, alone, in that 'tower' by that 'window.' And his 'knight' never did do a thing…

If it seems rushed, don't worry because that's how it's supposed to be. But if it doesn't, then good for you! . Once again, I hope ChibiFrubaGirl liked this.

Oh, it's short, yes. But I wanted it to be short. And if you don't like it then neh.

Review please, and I'll love you forever! …Promise. .
