Edward's POV

We were all frozen in place as we watched Bella fight. She flipped, kicked, and twisted gracefully through the air, attacking the man while he was down. It was intersting and horrific. Watching my Bella fight was an interesting sight while it was also terrifying knowing I wasn't protecting her.

My family was lined up, watching the scene play out in front of us. Three were still standing in their black leather uniforms, while the other three were lying on the ground hurt or unconcious.

"Rogue. Logan. Work together to fix them." Bella shouted as she jumped in the air kicking the man in the head and landing on her hands. She wrapped her legs around the man's head twisted and threw her and his weight over her and to the ground.

They lay on the ground breathing hard, unknowingly to the other two who were holding hands and touching each of the fallen.

The man jumped up and Bella raised in the air while still horizontal. She shot up vertical her feet not touching the ground. Bella cried out and I started panicking.

"No. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! No. Please no." Bella begged while my family gasped at the three claws slowly protruded from each of her hands in between her fingers. Bella flew to the nearest wall crying out upon the harsh contact. Her claws retracted and her fists were crossed and brought up to underneath her chest.

"No please don't. Please." Bella cried as the claws sprung out and into her chest the claws could be seen behind her stuck into the wall holding her up.

"BELLA" the man, Logan, and I shouted at the same time.

Bella whimpered and her head hung limp. Emmett and I started to try and break the invisible wall again. The girl, Rogue, lunged at the man and touched her hand to his bare arm before he collapsed.

Bella's claws retracted and she fell from the wall landing flat on her face. Everyone besides Bella was up and moving now. They all sprung into immeadiate action and killed the attacker before racing over to Bella, whose head was now in Rogue's lap and the red-haired woman, Jean, was checking her vitals. The invisible wall came down and I was next to Bella before the fastest vampire could blink. Rogue hesitantly moved Bella's head from her lap to mine and I gently stroked Bella's hair as Carlisle made his way over to the group of mutants now gathered around me.

Logan was chanting in his head, "C'mon kid. I've given you worse. Pull through this. Wake up." over and over again while he watched.

Carlisle was on the other side of Rogue next to a woman named Storm as he checked Bella's pulse which seemed to be picking up. Jean traced her hands around Bella's stomach where her fists had been and brushed her fingers over her chest feeling for the marks and not feeling any. Somehow, this didn't seem to surprise any of them, but Carlisle and I.

Bella took a gasping breath and her eyes shot open, immeadiately meeting mine, that were hovering directly over her. She smiled lightly before moving her gaze to everyone around her.

"Are you all okay?" were her first words as she made a pointed look at me. I smiled and nodded.

"We're fine, kid. You feelin' okay?" Logan asked. Bella nodded and started to sit up so I placed my hands on her back and helped her up.

"I'm good. Just some stabs. What's new?" Bella laughed lightly and stood up with Rogue, Jean, and Storm helping her. When Bella was standing up she latched herself to my side and I gladly wrapped my arms around her.
