Evie POV
"OMG mom look at that shirt! Can I please get it?" I was at the whining point.
"Sweetie it's too close to your birthday you know that!" My mom kept saying that about everything!
Okay well FYI I'm Evie and I'm 12 well almost. It's like March 15, 2008 and my birthday is March 27!! Eeepp! I'm so excited!
"Speaking of you birth day. Do you know who you are taking to six flags yet?" She was such a planner aheader!
"No not quite yet. I'm thinking about it still!" She aggravates me sometimes!!
"I'm just checking we don't want it to get so close that people already have plans." My mom says that all the time but I've got like 12 friggin days till then!
"I'm going to look around and see if I can find anything I want for my birthday…" I wanted to look because who knows what I'm getting!
"Sorry hon we don't have time now." She said walking ahead of me.
"Ugh! Fine!" I said slightly annoyed.
As I was walking by the Abercrombie and Fitch sign, the one with the really hot guy, to get out of the store I walked by this girl with her mom. Wait a minute! OMG OMG! Is it really her? OMG!
"Mom! Mom!" I whispered so they couldn't hear.
"Yes Evie?" She said probably thinking I had an attitude.
"Is that Scarlett McFall?" I said hoping for a positive answer!
"You know what I think it is why don't you say hey?" She said probably seeing if I would do anything.
"Scarlett?" I said slightly excited.
She turned around and was like who called my name. She then turned and smile.
"Oh my gosh Evie! Hey!" She said excited also.
"hey! Whats up?" I said complete psyched!
"Nothing much! You?" She said hugging me.
"Same!" I was so excited
"what school do you go to now?"She said
"Darlington Middle! You still home schooled?" I was curious
"Yep!" She said matter-o-factly.
"Well it's good to see you two, but we better go we have to meet Boyd somewhere but we will get the girls together soon!" My mom said almost too enthusiastically.
"That would be great! I know Scarlett would love that!" Mrs. Mcfall said
"I'll see you later Scarlett! Bye!" I turned around completely excited and then left the store with a new friend to hang with!
"Hey mom I think I know who I want to come to six flags…." I said as we left.
