I wrote this after being inspired by my English exam. It's a short one– shot and Erin is still alive just because I missed her and she went really well with the general line (as well as Becky). Read and Enjoy.
Sweet
Their luscious lips touched in a gentle motion. A cold chill grew over Lucy's skin as his cold dead hand ran over her shoulder making her warm blood run cold at his touch; goose bumps ran up her arms. Their hands grasped at each other, his hands touched her body she felt peaceful and at ease with him. He pulled her closer and she grateful sank into his body. Lucy sighed and offered herself to him he wrapped around her bringing her closer in a passionate love…
"Uggh?" The book dropped to the wooden ground, thumping as it hit the hard floor. A noise that was drowned out by the pitiful sigh that came from Vlad. Not even Erin's friend, Becky- Queen of Romance- could have thought but something so yucky! The book- Vampiric Love- was rubbish; the same old monotonous trash that surrounded vampires. Mysterious boys with perfect face who avoided everyone and yet somehow drew a young girl into their lives or rather unlives. This novel was for girls, like Becky, who wished and craved for paranormal, secretive guys with fangs and dark features. Someone who fought werewolves and drank from animals to clench their thirst- such liars. Animal blood was poisonous and werewolves and vampires got on, his sister's brother was half wolf! Why couldn't anyone understand? The story was weird and creepy. Couldn't anyone one see that the girl, Lucy, was just a necrophilia freak!
Vlad fell back on his leather sofa, his fall cushioned by a large pile of pillows. The book had his kind all wrong. He skin wasn't frigid and he was dutiful to his father's loud and repetitive demands; not a free self- abiding soul, the book suggested vampires were. He still pleaded to have liberty from this rehearsed, representation of his eternity. At eighteen Vlad thought he would be freed that he could live happily with Erin after he found out that she was having his child. That would most definitely never be the case.
Vlad's only freedom was when he dreamt- vampires weren't meant to dream. He dreamt of his future family and the perfect life with Erin away from Garside. However, Vlad had to listen to his father and he wished he could be like the vampires in the books but the possibility was highly unlikely.
"A vampire's life, no family, no friends, no love. Power, knowledge and heirs." His father's legendary words. A statement he had sworn an allegiant to when he had become a member of the council. Four rules, four traditions that must be upheld especially by him- the figurehead of the vampires.
No friends. No family. No liberty. No life. (That is how Vlad saw them.) A black hole was his unlife now. How he wished he could live the life of the vampire in the book but Erin seemed a lot better than Lucy.
Please Review I love knowing what people think of my stories so that I can improve them… :D
