DO NOT OWN!
Not a sound broke the silence of dawn as the cherry blossom petals blew from the tree and into my hair. There I sat, in the tree, watching the sun rise. It's the start of a new school year at High School, my 8th in fact. Edward had left me. That's all I think about, the way he changed me and left. Jacob has gone too. He no longer protects me although he sometimes calls in. And Charlie, well, he still loves me. It's good to know that someone still does. What Edward did to me was to save my life, and Charlie is grateful for that but why did he have to leave?
"Bells, breaky's ready, oh yeah, sorry,"
"It's okay Dad, I should come in anyway,"
I followed Charlie in and sat down at the table. "Hey Dad, how do you like it that your daughter is starting High School again?" He laughed. Thank goodness. Life is tough for a Dad whose daughter has become a vampire. I bet he spends all his days wondering if I will kill him. I look at my watch and it's already 8:45am. 15 minutes to get to school. I grabbed my bag and flew out the door yelling, "Bye Dad! Have a great day!"
I parked my truck and stood beside it, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Cullen's car. There was nothing. I then smelt something amazing. It was coming from a boy, the same year level as me but defiantly NOT the same age. His brown hair reminded me of Edward's and his green eyes sparkled in the sunlight. I tried to resist and after five minutes he was gone. Well, his fragrance was anyway. I grabbed my bag off the seat and rushed into the main office.
"Next, your na…"
"Isabella Swan," I answered the office lady, grabbed my sheet and fled out the other side. "There you go dear," The muffled voice was still muttering to me when I reached my first class. I had to get used to that, being fast. And I had to stop. Otherwise I would get caught and I did NOT want that to happen. I took a first look at my classes, English was first.
