*Religion was last period, I got my test back, and it was an 87%. I could have done better. As the bell rang, I packed my bag up, and started walking home. I was just outside the front door, when I heard yelling and fighting. The moment I open the door, my father rushes out with his ratty old suitcase, I watch him leave without a word. I walk in to find my mother and sister sitting on the chair in the living room, crying. That's when I went upstairs to my room, slammed the door shut, and cranked my music. That was the last time I ever saw my father. *

He abruptly hopped out of bed when his alarm went off. Time for another dreadful day at school. He got dressed in his usual; jeans and a black sweater.

"James! Are you ready for school?" his mother yelled up at him, from the kitchen. "Yes." He replied back.

Making sure to hide his wrists from his mother before he went downstairs, he pulled his sleeves down. At the front door, he told his mother he'd walk to school today. She found that odd, seeming as the school was 3.8 km away, but let him go anyways. James just needed some time to think. As he was walking to school, he saw the boy he dreads: Matthew Smith. He tried to ignore him, but that didn't work, because he heard Matthew yell out his name from across the street.

"What do you want?" asked James

"Oh just thought I'd let you know that you're an idiot, and with you all alone on the street your friends nowhere near to defend you, that you're all mine." Matthew said.
