Christina wanted to cry like a child. She locked herself in her room barely able to keep her composure. Her parents were dead. Gone. Of course there was never any guarantee they were alive. Christina hoped though. Now her hopes were crushed. Crumbled into mere dust. All her questions. All her hopes. Everything gone. She slid to the floor in agony. She could no longer hold back the tears that spilled down her cheeks and on to the floor. She couldn't care less at the moment.
That sick twisted jerk killed her parents. The parents who never got to see her first steps or hear her first words. They never got to see any of it. All Because of Van Hellscream. Shaking Christina pulled herself onto her bed and sobbed into her pillow. She didn't care if anyone heard her. Let them hear her. Let them hear her sobs. She didn't care. She knew they were worried but she didn't care. Any moment now Shaggy would be there knocking on her door. Asking to be let in.
She'd let him in. She knew she would . That wouldn't make her feel better though. Nothing could make her feel better. Not right now anyway. She was too heartbroken. Too upset. She wanted to scream. She wanted to break something. Anything to make the pain stop. Why couldn't they all hide with Dracula? He was certainly strong enough to stop Van Hellscream. Why did they leave her by herself when they could've hid with her?
"Christina"
Right on cue. There was Shaggy. Christina felt too weak to answer the door. She wanted to stay curled in a ball on her bed.
"Christina may I come in?"
"Yes"
Weakly she waved her hand and unlocked the door. She walked into the room. Upon seeing Christina he wanted to cry too. She just looked so helpless. So defeated. Shaggy walked over to the bed and wrapped his arms around her. He gently rocked her back and fourth. They didn't speak. Shaggy was still fuming angry. He'd hoped Christina's parents were alive so Christina could get some well deserved answers. Christina needed those answers. Needed them more than anything.
Now she finds out that the only people capable of providing answers are gone. Killed at the hands of a twisted, cruel jerk. That made him even angrier. Angry at the man who dared to rob this girl of answers.
"Christina?"
"Yes Shaggy?"
"I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"Not telling you "
"I said it was okay "
"I know I just still feel bad"
"It's okay Shaggy"
"Christina "
"Yes?"
"I love you "
"I love you too "
